Edit: I ended up using Holo Locker instead for the Jelly Bean Lock Screen and its free in the play store

i use the jellybean skin on widget locker. i think its only there if you enable using the beta version of widget locker.

I just switched to this ROM from Midnight and Im on the fence. I like how Midnight kept some of the HTC intact; clock/weather widget and Contact Linking in particular. My google contacts and facebook contacts duplicate in some areas and I dont like manually linking them. HTC automatically did the link but on this ROM that is completely gone.

Any recommendations on a remedy for the widget/linking?

That would be awesome. I just need to figure out how to wipe out HTC's "Note" data they stuck in all my google contacts; because of the linking.

I've been combing through the settings and I was wondering if there was a way to change the messaging app settings as far as chat bubbles. I'm not liking the purplish&greyish boxes.

if all else fails, try a different messaging app. i use go sms pro. i use widget locker, go sms, go contacts/dialer, go launcher. i use these things because they work well, and i can go rom to rom and still keep the overall appearance of my phone the same. each offers different advantages, but i just like not being at the mercy of the rom developer to provide me with themed apps.

He probably means jb themed SMS app. I like the stock look of the SMS app (blue and white) so I extracted the apk from jmz, signed it (not sure if it's necessary but I do it anyway), swapped it out, fix permissions and rebooted.

Found an app that does a TV screen off animation. Well, not exactly the same TV off animation like in AOSP ROMs, but it works. If you don't have long press search button assigned to anything, you can assign it to lock your screen. It's called Screen Off and Lock.

I noticed my phone tends to get a bit warm, not near the battery, but closer to the camera. I'm not sure why that is, maybe I just need to change my CPU settings. Anyone have any idea why it might do this? Didn't do it on the latest version, nor on the Midnight rom.

What kernel are you running?

I've noticed some heat with the last couple Anthrax kernels.

Heat might come from CPU constantly clocking high, when screen is at Max brightness, when charging, or in hot weather
