Well If you use Holo Launcher (or others) you can backup your icon locations... Go into settings and look for it. Holo has both a "backup settings" and "backup desktop shortcuts". Once you have a solid backup of desktop shortcuts with all your icons the way you like them, then whenever you batch restore apps with TiBu, you then go into Holo and restore the icons where they were. I use Nova Launcher Prime myself and it has the same feature. I am sure most good launchers have this capability. Give it a whirl, I think you'll be pleased. :cool:

+1 - The black theme is especially bothersome in Gmail. The black background makes it difficult to read an email.

Running 2.76 and it's working great. This is the first time I've used a Sense theme since I rooted and it's growing on me. The animations just give it a nice feel. Paired with JMZ kernel @ 1.7 I got this. It'd be higher if I could figure out how to overclock the GPU as well. I don't think SetCPU has that option. Oh well, not like I need to overclock it for normal use. Just for benchmarking.

I'm for the two 'flavors' of the ROM aswell.
Ya'know, you could make it look fancy. Have a "light" flavor and a dark flavor. I'd bet many of us would appreciate that.
Or at least show us how to revert some of the apps back to vanilla. (:

None of the apps are "Vanilla" I've just about themed everything in the Rom with the exception of a few bothersome parts........... if you want "Vanilla" then pull what you need from Power Rom
 
Come on guys tell me this isn't the best battery life............. I use my phone alot during the Day and i still have most of my battery left and im sure i could keep going for days.......

You also have a battery twice the size of most people. I have the stock battery and my phone has been in my pocket most of the day not being used because I was at work. I'm at 38% after being off the charger for 11 hours.

........... Mine is with the default configuration

Still Stock Battery would be at 62% by now so that means the Stock battery with Normal usage would last me a little over 25 Hours!!!! with my batery thats over 50 Hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Edit:I can't really say everyone is having Battery issues.......... and i see your using Battery Defender maybe thats the reason for your battery life?????

I don't use any type of battery Saving app cause IMO its just another App Running all the Time that eats battery

Well i don't believe in "Battery Saving" apps.......... and after i install the Rom i let the battery go through one full cycle from approx. 100% down to 0% then i recharge it back to 100% and from then on my battery life is F***ing amazing

Edit: After an Fresh install and Setup (installing apps and signing into gmail) i also let the Rom settle for a minute or two and i reboot my phone to have a fresh start-up with everything on it
 
I'll uninstall Juice Defender and let my phone completely die tonight and charge for a good 7 hours. Hopefully I'll have better luck tomorrow. Should I wipe battery stats or anything?

I installed 2.76 this morning, installed all my apps from the market (didn't backup anything), rebooted after installing apps, and didn't use my phone much. The ROM is running very smooth and I like the Sense theme, but it hasn't been kind to my battery as you can see. I charged it overnight so it was at 100% when I installed 2.76.

This Rom has a Battery Collaboration script that should make Battery issues like that not exist so i wouldn't wipe battery stats (unless your Switch between 2 different batteries)

EDIT: I forgot to mention that i was using the Flashlight........ thats why my battery starting dropping towards the end in my screenshot :p

Yeah this rom is ******* amazing now, the battery and performance is beyond other roms now. I did take of the bootanimation sound off though. Other than that does this Rom have mobile hotspot? Because I'm using it right now but I need more verification because this is unreal.
 
Do you think that you'll ever update your rom or create a new rom with sense 4 mobz? I'm currently testing the sense 4 build I found in this forum, and so far it looks pretty nice.

I only use JD because it cuts off mobile data when the screen is off and turns it back on when the screen turns on. This makes a BIG difference in my battery life. If there's a setting in Android where I can control that myself please point me to it.

what is your battery life like... like i said before im now getting 6 hours which is an improvement but still horrible.. and thats with auto bright off, location etc.. but i dont use jd or any other app
 
I agree with the above posts. This seems faster than when it had the Holo launcher. Everything is quick. Even not overclocked it seems faster than any other ROM i've used when they are OC'd. A green message icon would be cool but that's a minor want for the perks of the ROM. Great job. With as efficient as this is, this will def. be my new daily driver for now.

PS. I may be in the minority but I like the black and inverted apps. Gives it a much cleaner look. JMO.:driver:
