Root [ROM][MODS] K3LSOMOD ROMS [updated 1-20-12] [ICS MINT THEME by PBOT Added]

I can honestly say this is a great rom :D
I dont mind being a Guinea pig again! after all it was a great thing to test new things. even though I originally flashed with plague kernel I'm with reppards kernel now because the lock screen problem. but so far I'm running OC'd 826 and no reboots and very stable ^.^

does anyone know of an app or something to control music without having to go the app? I used to have the cm7 buttons on the status bar but now I have this rom.

The ICS theme looks really nice, I've had it for about a week now, and to be honest I might just like it more than the cm7 ui. I used this theme, and an ICS theme pack I found online to get the launcher, icons, and wallpapers
to match the Galaxy Nexus look...though the wallpaper is a little off; It still looks great. haha :D I might post a picture later.

Well, I've been running this all day. After getting the ICS theme on it, configuring ADWLauncher with themes, this ROM is far smoother than stock, and as good as any CM7 ROM. Great work Kelso!

I can use resource heavy apps that usually crashed or forced my phone to reboot now! Although, some of the apps I use require 2.3, I can live without those apps for now.
 
Noob questions??? How to flash Themes? Do I go into recovery and install The Zip?? Are any settings cleared?
Same questions about the data throttle.
Wondering is there a vid like Kelso's rom install and nand backup?

I wiped dalvik and cache before flashing throttle.
and if you flash throttle after theme it removes clock so you have to flash white clock if you want it back.

to install rom just wipe all data once or twice and flash then theme then throttle and then clock.
 
Kinda bad news for some. I am NOT gonna be supposting edify scripting due to it being a pain in the ass.and I dont even use cwm..good news. My update rom will be edify compatible but none of my flashable zips will be. I spent over an hour trying to figure out how to make an edify update.zip..no luck. I will update the op with the edify compatible rom.zip which will work will all our recovery. But for u cwm users,u will have to use a root file manager to add the 3 files for my theme. Make sure to change permissions of the apk after overwriting the original. I suggest checking the original apk permissions and make the overwritten apks permissions the same.
 
If anyone knows how to make an edify compatible. Zip please let me know. Cuz I can't find anything useful for edify zip packaging.

Also, I will update the white clock with the data throttle remover so u guys can have the theme AND throttle remover.

an ass load of google searching..lol trying to figure out a way to make you guys optimus's get data as fast as my evo..cuz my evo get anywhere from 800kbps to 1400kbps...this is all i came up with so far..lol still searching though..


also im uploading my ICS THEME to include the governor remover,so now you guys can have BOTH! :)

The themes are by kovdev, they are really nice. I think they all look pretty good, but I like the IceCreamSandwich and the one I'm using now. It's DarkEdge Blue theme. (second picture) The ICS one is great and comes with ics wallpapers, but they are slightly grainy. It doesn't look very much like the one you see on the Galaxy Nexus. I did find another ics wallpaper that looks good, here. :D

Edit: the size restrictions on this site are outrageous. Oh well the pic on the left is the ICS one with the above wallpaper (its a live one), also I changed the text icon because the green one didn't match at all. The pic on the left is DarkEdge Blue, it goes really nice with Kelso's ics theme, the blues match with the button leds too.

No.this is. Froyo framework,lge Res and services.jar. cm7 is gingerbread. Cm7 has a better ice theme on the market. Lol my ice theme is mostly just ics colors. With a few of the same things. The cm7 ics theme is actual 4.0 framework png's. So its way more on point.
 
wats it called wen there's a green line on across da top n crossed(swapped) colors on YouTube n other vid sights?
BTW flashplayer works for me n i got 11.sumptin(latest.) on there. only da color thing cuz sometimes its all B/W, too.
does da same wit 10.blablabla also...
 
Just out of curiosity. How do I get the 2.2.1 version of this rom LOL. I see only the 2.2.2 rom version or somewhat of this. It's been so long since I've been here sooooo Much has changed. And as for the data throttle. Has anyone seen pretty good data? I'm on 3026. I'm really happy with the 3G. But it switches to 1x every time a mms shows up lol. Ima have to switch back to another prl ;)
 
Loaded the EZ rider rom with edify scripting and I'm unable to import my contacts from the SD card. Works fine with 1st EZ Rider ROM. Any suggestions?
Also, how can you tell if a2sd is running? I don't see it in running apps or services?

Edit: Playing around, also cannot add any new contacts. Wiped cache and dalvik cache prior to trying.

Edit 2: Reflashed, managed to import contacts, but still couldn't add new ones.
 
Kelso, so I "upgraded" my phone from CM7 to the stock 2.2.2 the other day. I then followed the 3-click thread for rooting that. Once that was done I flashed this ROM for the 2.2.2. Now I also had putt ROM Manager on and flashed CWM to my phone. Since your ROM is the correct script I could do that. My question is, what about the throttle-B-gone? Is that in this ROM, or do I have to flash it separately? If it's already here, do I have to activate it, or is it automatic?

A little background; I bought my OM back in February. It came stock with the 2.2 version of Android which I was able to root with z4root.

the throttle is with the ics theme so you have to flash the icstheme.zip
