This is a simple MPCS 2.2.1 rom modified with Root privileged permissions. This rom is fully stock, it includes everything in the 2.2.1 system.img. This rom is for people that want to keep a current rom on their device and have it fully privileged for modifications. This zip was signed with the testkeys.

Still no confirmation on if this works? I'm gonna test it soon. Then get the custom recovery that getitnowmarketing on here and make a nandroid backup. With that development should be able to begin for a custom 2.2.1 rom.

Need the custom recovery first, Andyo70. I had trouble installing the custom recovery myself, but it's just me. A few days ago RichieDaze offered to help walk me through it but I was very busy over the weekend -- and now it's a new work week...

Please test it out and let us know how it goes for you?

Is there way to install "[ROM] MPCS-2.2.1 Rom Fully Rooted" if phone comes with 2.2.1 & downgrade2.2.0/z4root doesn't work?

i dont understand this..under the requirements,it says you must have root privileges (cant root 2.2.1) or is this ROM just for people with 2.2 rooted phones to be able to update to 2.2.1 and have root privileges?!?!? someone enlighten me.lol

Hmmmm....that's odd. Flashed fine through getitnowmarketing's recovery menu. Boots and shows me the Metro splash screen without the "Hello hello hello" crap and then resets and tosses me back into the recovery menu.

I have the same problem as andyo70, except I don't even hear the "Hello, Hello, Hello..." thing. Maybe it's the recovery we're using? I'm sure Andy is using the same one as me cause I used his tutorial to give my phone an extra boost in speed.

you can root a stock 2.2.1. i have done it......
