Root [ROM]{MS840} Number_Two v1.8 ~ ZVA

I have beta 7 with settings fixed installed. Should I install the official? Are there any differences?

Also in beta 7 there's no "clear" button in the notification bar. It's there and can be used just doesn't show.

do not flash the file, just delete the .zip at the end, it's the services.jar file, push it into the system/framework ;)

:( well i tried everything i know of to get that statusbar background transparent.. looks like it just dont want it LOL try again later.. as of now how is the rom running?
 
OK so far everything seems smooth and responsive, I have 4g on the whole time since unplugging the phone with more then mild use and 3hrs and 20mins later I'm at 65%.

Are you using v1? and if you are can you tell me the difference between v1 and beta5?
 
Very nice work on the ROM. :)

I am using it myself instead of BO. The issues with the Bluetooth and TTS remain, unfortunately, but I am working on a solution for them.

I already created a Flashie that installs Tts on any ROM that does not have it (in this case #2). The thread for that is here.

Overclocking is also not available in this ROM, but that can be easily added by replacing the Kernel with PlayfulGod's Black Plague. The Flashie for that is here.

The speed will stay overclocked at 1512MHz, however, so you might want to follow the instructions in this thread.

i should be able to install this as an update or dirty install right? if i already have beta 5 installed???

thank you for the info :D i still have much to do on this lol as for OC'ing i honestly just started learning about kernels.. that will possibly come pre-installed in near future, but i just want to focus on getting everything working :D
 
What's different from Beta5/Beta7 to this Official release? A changelog from beta to beta would be awesome :D, but maybe thats asking for to much.

the official release has a few things added to it from the beta stages.. but im not gonna re write the changelog because yu shouldn't keep the BETA(s) LOL.. just get the official release so you have the latest copy lol

Don't know if this is a rom issue but since ive updated to official release my screen sometimes turns off (as if its been idle for 2mins) while im texting or some other use.
 
So i kinda got the transparent status bar to work. Ill post a apk in a few.
