Yes I flashed ur full wipe script before testing (test #2), thanks for all the work you put into this for us man you make us feel special@Shatterproof: did you do a full wipe for the second test??if so than we are golden LOL

Hey LDrifta, can you do me a favor? Can you make me a flashable .zip file, one that will restore the status bar back to stock or the 1.5 version and another .zip file that will decrease the transparency of the status bar pulldown background to like 80%? It's very hard for me to read stuff on it with the transparency so light and the way the status bar is set up makes some stuff not look right. I have posted pics for you and if you can fo this I will send you a donation when I find a job and get some money flowing in. Everything else is very cool.
Thanks man!
On the pics look at the top, pic is showing through and on some apps it shows through also.
just press home and the lock button at the same timehaha you can grab the one from 1.4 and push it into system/app with adb or root explorer etc..How can i change the messaging app... i'm not used to that black/white chat, it's more difficult to read with my (old) eyes then the one i was using in v1.4
Easy install, looks good, works smoothly, i will try BT later today...

as for Bluetooth, you need to flash the fixer for it to work![]()

When I try to flash the BT_Fix_Mod it says E:Error in /sdcard/MS840_BT_Fix_Settings_CWM.zip (status 7) I knw that an error 7 can be cause by CWM being outdated but Im able to flash everything else without error. Is anyone else having this error when flashing the BT_Fix or should I try something else?ok re-uploaded the rom, fixed the statusbar lol and adjusted the heapsize like i did for esteem but not as low.. hopefully this will smooth it out a lil better![]()

Im not sure if you ever seen the mms.apk from the beastcandy theme but its bad ass. Open the beastcandy theme found here --> (Beastcandy Theme) then go into "app" and extract the "contact.apk and the "mms.apk" once they are extracted you can copy them over to your system/app/folder then rebootHow can i change the messaging app... i'm not used to that black/white chat, it's more difficult to read with my (old) eyes then the one i was using in v1.4

lol it's in the 'flash zip' menu of CWM just press it once to enable and again to disaBLE..no idea why it enables it at first even thought it's already on.. but thats just the way it is.. lol trust meHow do you do that?

1st. Theres a default screenshot feature with the connectjust press home and the lock button at the same time
2nd. Thats the way transparency works, theres no issue, thats whats supposed to happen man.
Im pretty sure the transparent thing is part of the SettingsUI or SystemUI sumin like that. So if want just use it from the old versions. However Im not completely sure but you might lose some other stuff. :/

The 2 .apks will just overwrite the other 2 once you hit overwrite, this will only theme the contacts, mms, and dailer, and nothing else. I can post a few screenshots of the mms and contacts later on today for yaCool, I'm gona try that. Is there anything we have to delete from the system app folder or do those apps just overwrite the ones installed ?
its blue and black (carbon), if you want to be safe just make a copy of your current contacts.apk and mms.apk so you can just put them back if you dont like the way it looks, but if you dont like the way they look now then I dont think you have anything to lose
