How he got "50+ hours on a single charge " is beyond me even with an extended battery and Underclocking, sleep mode, and a homeless kernel(according to others, never worked for me for some reason). But hopefully the dismal battery life of my Esteem will change. Will post my results tomorrow.

Well thats what poster claims in op, second sentence. Seems exaggerated to me...
Edit: This seems contradictory to me. In the sysctl.conf, the oom allocating task line appears twice, first it sets the value to 1 (which i believe enables it) and then later down the file, it comes up again but disables it by setting it to 0.

Well it was a different phone and rom, never mentioned the usage and what kind of battery( stock or otherwise) so the legitimacy of his claim in legal terms is flexible to an extent... but xda could run it different. Although wouldnt help his case since he never posted a screenshot( though can be edited) or any other form of proof. Guess its just test it out, if it doesn't work, then screw his tweak. Ill just go back to supercharger. :P
 
I've noticed that external sd card files keep disappearing with this rom. When I reboot my phone they are there, but then they disappear again after a little while. :confused:

Must be something with your phone. I've been running the latest 1.5 and haven't experienced any problems with either sd .
 
Already upgraded and running thus rom! It's awesome! I luv it! Everything feels so smooth! Hopefully it'll stay like this!
 
I've had sd problems as well. Phone would reboot out of no where. But it'll only take like five seconds to boot up again. Than I would have no files or music. I would have to manually reboot again. To get it to show it again.
