Root [ROM] Number Two (#2) v3.0.1 {ZVE}

On 1.3 the worst I got was around 4 hours on WiFi with constant use. There were a few times close to when I made the switch to 1.5t3 where the phone would chew thru the battery while doing nothing data and WiFi off. This rom seems a lot better. Little bit of lag with the lock screen but w/e.
 
thanks guys for all the support!!! yes battery life seems to be great for me :D phone is responsive & fast!!

sadly i dun think i can do anything about the lockscreen :( not really sure why it does that, but i think it's just gonna happen lol it only lags when your phone isn't played with for a while lol but once unlocked eevrything is still fast and snappy

gonna do a full test on battery life today, got a nice full charge and i gotta go to work lol so music and internet for 8 hrs hahaha
 
Getting amazing battery life so far. Light use of texting and running mame4all emulator and browsing, currently a little over 5 1/2 hrs since charge and at 73% on stock battery without a single hiccup in performance. :P best results i ever got on this phone since my random incidence when i fell asleep with PG's kernel where it lasted from 8:30pm to 11:26am and was at 66%.
Edit: btw, has anyone experienced lag after installing a new app? It only lasts 30 seconds but it can get very annoying...
 
Can sumone please tell me what am i doing wrong ... i installd the lastes version 1.5 T3 nd i seen lots of people saying they are gettin a better batt life nd my phone i charge it nd in 58 mins consumed batt to 74% ? /: can anyone give an idea why is tht??

never use airplane mode .. regular use .. use 4G all day, I am connected on msn with BeejiveIM with push notifications .

had the same issue here with my phone-WHY:confused:
Have no idea-ran almost 18 hrs on v1.3 with the same setup:dontknow:
 
has anyone wiped battery stats? i know, i know, its been debunked that it doesn't really help the battery, but just try it. I'm doing great battery wise.

Some of us, including me, have to remember those numbers on the battery are just that, numbers, it may look like it went down from 100 to 80 in 30 minutes, but it might stay at 75 for the next 2 hours while you using Pandora (not really 2 hours, but you know what i mean) I bet you that if we took numbers away we wouldn't even freak out half of the time when we saw the battery go down.

I hear you m8 but u really think if i wipe batt stats it might help?... another question does everyone uses the battery qualibration everytime they installed a new rom? I use to used with my lg optimus m. Bt naw with this one.. should i use?... nd my phone it gets fully charge nd in 20 mins its on 88% without been in use /:

well what I read there's no need to wipe battery status. and I use battery calibration when installing different roms that's wat I do ;)

As regards to what ekernel said you have been deleted again and probably reported, so I guess this is bye ye unless you come back with a New Name and Email Address :(.. But really the only people who could do that are The Forums Moderator BOSS MAN.!!! and the Certain Forums Acting C.E.O for the BOSS MAN LG forums is ShinnySide

Also for the mispells it has to do with the Keyboard mistaking good spelling as bad in which it Auto Correct in which most people either use ye Mobile Browser in which I'm using now or the Tapa Talk app..!!!!?

wow ok what the heck did i miss?? lol do i attract danger?

the battery wipe is not a myth.. but now-a-days is pretty un-needed.. it was used for older devices with some type of battery issue when rooting or something.. i forget, but a wise man once told me the reason lol still doesn't hurt to do it once in a while..
 
Hey ldrifta any more tweaks coming for this Rom or this is it ? my phone loves 1.5 t3 for the record :D

haha probly no more additions, but considering making a change or two to the exhisting tweaks

there's one thing i did was lowered the ram allowed per app, default is 96mb, which is huuuge, so after some reading up it seems 32 is the absolute best/fastes setting for it, but we have some heavy app users/gamers here so im not sure if 32 is too low.. so i have it at 48 right now.. the next test will have 32, then the next will have 64.. then we will se which one is best :D

gonna have to put out all 3 tests and have people do some heavy testing for me lol put out a list and set of goals lol
