I always wonder how are you guys get that much battery life I haven't been that lucky I only get about maybe 20 hours with regular use light use with my extended verizon battery

not sure.. noone has said anything.. but i noticed a lil boost.. went from 255 to about 264-265, but still bogs down a tad over time, but then once you reboot your phone is right back at 264-ish lol pretty cool :D
 
Battery life seems worse on 1.5 than I had on 1.4. Got home and I have only 2% left after a day of work 8-5.

Only had about 1 phone call and 5-6 texts. Listened to about 7 songs on play music and played a game of NBA jam. I downloaded 4-5 apps but small ones that take 1 min each or less. had 4G off most of the day.

Well thats weird.. im at work now had music goin about 5 hours now. data been on all day and im on metroweb checkin forums
and textin and callin i got 70%still after total of 8 hrs on battery... works fine for me bro

k after some heavy web browsing i noticed a lil battery drain. so have yu been using web or internet based games? My thought would be maybe the internet speed tweak may take a lil more battery.. ill test more when i get home.. you shouldnt be at 2 tho lol

What part needs finishing? I haven't been able to have a working wifi check box where I want it if that's what you're talking about
 
Hello.
Two questions.


1) Anyone expereinced opening up Dial Pad is very lagging during the call. Like voice answer system asks you to type 2, so you need to open up dial pad but it's slow to open up.

2) I know there are many battery tweks built in on Kernel already. Is installing Battery Apps (like Juice Defender, 2x Battery) will help or worsen?

try wiping ur cache also make sure u don't have alot of apps running in ur back ground

Yea I probably did something that was draining it more. Today it is working better, had 50% after I got home from work. Seems Ok now.

I did have problems using the Swype gse 1.5(B i think?) and then tried Swype beta signed up, etc. Both force close.

Are we only supposed to be able to use Swype original one with this ROM?
 
Swype needs to be flashed into the rom. I had the same problem till i flashed it.

download, paste to sd, jump into recovery, install from sd, reboot. Works like a charm. =]

Had this ROM 2 days now. Best battery life I have gotten with any ROM/KERNAL combo. Usually my phone is dead after about 9. hours with the screen being on for about 30% for something or other. Today I have had it unplugged from the charger for 12 hours with screen on about 80 percent of the time and I still am showing a charge of 19 %.
I don't even have any set CPU profiles set up or my juice defender installed yet.

Just a quick question:
Im running 1.5 on my esteem, and its zvd
My gf's little sister was playing on it for like 30-45 mins,
and my battery went form 70-17%?

Don't know what was up with that, so yeah.
Btw,if i switch the kernel to homeless, would anything break?
