Root [ROM] Number Two (#2) v3.0.1 {ZVE}

hey guys,

I just flashed this #2 1.9.1 last night coming from black plague....hesitated because i knew it would be slower. So i heard #2 works with plague extreme kernel..(perhaps a older version) .so i tried it without wiping anything and got bootloop. re flashed the #2 and its all good...but yes alil slower, i was at 1.8-1.9mhz with out crashes or probs.didnt always keep it that high but can deff notice the difference...

So my question is do i need to wipe cache or any anything for flashing the plague extreme or am i missing something?
(when i flashed it it was successful) just didnt boot up...

Anyone using 1.9.1 with a diff kerenel to oc ?

Oh ok. I was under the impression that if I set the sleepmode to 2 it would let me OC:confused:

It was slow at work today-can ya tell by how often my screen was on :rofl:
4G pretty much all day
Notice the phone was awake when the screen was off..grrr

hey gbiggie... i kno thanks..
i did that already on my other rom was all good...

but i did it on ldriftas rom and it only changes it in my settings... but not on my drop down or stock locks screen.

i kno it says #2 on stock so i use magiclocker to ad my name, but as u notice the name is removed and he added other stuff....

u get what im saying?

*edit... well i just read if the rom removed the carrier bar i wont see a change even if i changed it.... is this the case here?

You don't need magiclocker. Check the all things root guide. There's a guide in there to change lockscreen text

lol... gotcha....

still a nice ROM tho...runs pretty smooth... just wanna tweak it out alil more ;) ...havent had any issues yet...but anxious to OC.... and yes i have ADHD lmmfao ;)
 
k guys.. your gonna hate me.. haha, but i finally got the chance to use my rom for more than 1 day and i noticed it basically fell apart after a few days.. but it could just be because i keep testing things lol, anyway im still trying out new things.. think i found a happy-medium lol, and im gonna flash an OC kernel on this bad boy to see what is up.. as for the auto-brightness thing, i had already restored the values back to default in a previous release.. so if it still seems kinda choppy than i have no idea why.. lol

but if i come accross any more major defects than im starting all over again till we get this thing right.. till then im gonna push out a lil fresh release (yes you can flash over w/ no wipe) i put together this morning to hopefully stable-ize it a lil more, but first i have more testing to do :( dammit... haha

1.91 is just fine :/ no issues. And over clocking is just fine... I didn't even put the sleep mode to 1 and its still fine.
 
Same here, all works perfect other than the auto-brightness. I use it, I'm always in and out from my office so It would be nice to have it work correctly. Not complaining we love this guy (Idrifta) :)
