The farthest I go for over clocking is 1.3 I don't want to over clock it too much because I don't want to kill my battery life... but I don't want ANY lag on this phoneNo, I suggest you leave it alone. It's just fine the way it is. Unless, you JUST have to overclock your phone for the purpose of flinging your home screen just a few ms faster. In that case do as you wish. Over clocking is over RATED. If I set your phone to 2 different CPU speeds, 600 MHz apart, you wouldn't be able to tell which was which.
Plus, battery life owns over clocking. The amount of battery eaten by over clocking is NO where near worth the sacrifice for a phone just a hair smoother.
Remember overclocking doesn't make you data faster. It makes changing screens and games smoother, maybe.
Just leave it alone people, lol, unless you want to try and blow your phone up benchmarking it over and over and over and over again to acheive a number that means nothing. In that case OC that sucker to 3.0 if you can. Hell download the B 2.2 plague kernel and see if you can make it start smoking. Hahahaha
Thanks for the update L. Gonna flash it later after work and give it a go. We appreciate all the work you have done with this amazing ROM. I honestly think this is the first GO TO rom for the Esteem. Like, they go hand in hand.

Make a backup and flash it. No need to wipe anything. If it doesn't work you can restore it. It will though.

Just checked and my apps just open as soon as I click. My phone must be super special. 700 Mhz was the button combo for the fatality. lol

I keep mine on 700 and it works fine. I don't play any big games or anything though.

I have also done the same thing. IMO this is the best ROM for daily use. I won't be flashing anything else until cm9 and even then it will have to completely blow me away to not come back.

I ran blitz 2.1 on 1.9.2 and SMS was not working; governors were not sticking. I got up to 2 ghz; I got 2 ghz with the plague kernel when I tested it months back.
When I tried 2.1 ghz with blitz, I froze; the only advantage blitz has over plague -- that I could see -- is that extra 100 mhz, which I can't seem to get. But, if I could get that extra hundred, I'd be all about blitz.
Will governors stick with plague, now, on this ROM? If so, I'll get plague on with my next update and log my results. If not, I'll wait for that lagfree to work; that is a nice governor...

im running 1.9.2 and the blitz 2.1 and sms is working fine...havent tried it over 1.9mhz because it would crash if i maxed with 2.2 plague kernel...(but that was on a diff rom) ...
