hey gBIG you see that last comment i wrote.. somewhat directed towards you lol about letting screen shut itself off instead of turning off with power button, seems to help greatly with that phone staying awake while screen is off issue lol, helped me out huuuuge!!

There's your problem. Something is keeping the phone awake even know the screen is off.

Yeah I saw it-I usually do just let it close out on it's own. It was an app I put on a few days ago I believe. Deleted it and haven't seen that issue since;)
 
Several hours into using 1.9.2, at 768/245. Awesome! Haven't had to reboot to recover 4g, lagging in the dialer is greatly improved.

So I finally updated to ZVD, rooted and installed this ROM Version 1.9.2.

Firstly, ldrifta, you already know how I feel about your work as I have professed my love for it when I first came to AndroidForums. So kudos to you for the excellent work and all those that put forth the effort into making it what it is as well.

I have read through the thread for the most part and haven't really found my answers.
1. I can't get my widgets going =( Widgets such as Weather, Calendar, Power Controller Widget. I tried just putting the .apk in the system/app folder using Root Explorer and then rebooting and still nothing. I even put in AppWidgetPicker.apk in, rebooted and still no go. How can I fix this?
2. The dockbar, is there a way to drag icons into the dock? I think I had ADW Launcher (Not sure actually, I think it was whichever launcher was for the ZVD LDK-ICK ROM) - is there a way I can replace Launcher Pro with ADW Launcher?
3. Is there a way to turn off the little tab button on the keyboard when you type? I like the keyboard but.. I don't like those little thingies at the top. Kind of miss swype too. But I don't think there is a swype version of the keyboard right?

I think those are my only questions so far.. lol

Yes it has been a while. I've been well, still alive so I guess that says something! lol how have you been?

I fixed the widget problem. I had to change the permissions to RW-R-R

Which still leaves the dock settings//swapping out launchers and the tabbed keyboard.

i would re-flash, flash th ez-wipe full version, then manually wipe everything yourself to garuntee a fresh clean system, then flash the #2 rom, then the ick theme and see if it helps :D i may need to update the theme but im pretty sure it is tweak-less, it's only a theme lol

Yes i did a full wipe . And i did it manually but tonight il do everything again and hopefully works great . Jeje yea your right about the theme :)

Been good loving my Esteem thanks to all this group of guys here :D
 
Flash player does not like this rom.. my phone overheated within 10 mins. I actually had to put it in the freezer cause it was so hot....

Thank you. I managed to figure out #1. It was more than what the link had to say. For #2, I didn't realize I could have done so.. How odd.
Has anyone been able to resize widgets? It won't let me saying it's a launcher pro plus feature v.v and I've tried ways to get around it *ahem* but those ways didn't pull through. Any ideas?

Omg is it really that bad o.o

I realized my battery life isn't all too hot with 1.9.2 either. But it's much more responsive in 1.9.2 for me - not as laggy.
I also noticed that the screen isn't green during a call? I guess that was altered in the update? And I cannot read the On-Going Texts in the Notifications bar.
