Good catch. Just noticed those.

Looks like the default ringtone is missing. Did a factory reset on Pace Plus rc2b and ended up missing a call. Luckily, it was just my wife ;)

Works fine now that I've selected a ringtone.

Do these roms still go into deep sleep? It seems like they don't do it anymore. I used to save a lot more battery with the older tdm/cyanogenmod roms with deep sleep!

They should. Is anyone else having trouble with deep sleep?
 
I just received an update to my nexus 7 today for 4.4.2. Skipped right over 4.4.1. Didn't notice spectrum not going into deep sleep. Will monitor and report back

I noticed it at first, set it to interactive/noop and have been getting much better life. Today at 13 hours 40 min and 62% (minimal use).

What tool are you using? Wakelock Detector-Save Battery (by UZUMAPPS) in the play store says it's not KK compatible

Did full wipe of data, cache, and dalvik cache.

Flashed paceplus44-vs920-1.0.rc2b.zip.

Flashed 12-6_GApps_Standard_4.4.1_signed.zip.

NO NEED TO FLASH SUPERUSER.ZIP as SuperSU is included in the ROM.

I like this GApps because since I deselected to restore from my Google Backup then I was able to select to install only the Google and Google Play apps I want. They didn't all install by default.

4G starts right up on first boot.

No Hangouts error and Hangouts comes up fine.

SD Card reads and writes fine.

Settings menu in Gallery displays properly.

SuperSU updated automatically after setup.

Verizon Mobile app works without installing an extra apk file as was needed with CM 10.x.

Cons:

Still having problem with displaying videos in YouTube.

Still having issues with 3rd party apps that use the camera (ex. Barcode Scanner, Camera Zoom FX, Skype, etc.). Apps lock up and just display lines and waves on screen.

Aside from that this ROM seems fairly stable so far. Will keep posting on any other issues I encounter.

Seems that streaming video does not work in any apps that stream video. Video not working in YouTube, WWE, SportsCenter, etc.

There's an Xposed Framework Mod, Enable BatteryStats Permissions that makes incompatible battery mods work, like Wakelock Detector and CPU Spy Plus. I found it in the downloads list in Xposed.
 
After some painful trial and error got this bad boy running on my Spectrum. I must say I like it a lot.

For me though wifi tether is a necessity, is there a hotfix or perhaps an app I can throw on here to get it running until it's incorporated fully?

I've been modding my Spectrum for a while now and glad to see tdm working this PACE out. Keep up the good work bro! Thanks!

You installed 4.3 or 4.4?

It would help to (1) get a logcat and (2) if 4.4, let me know if WiFi tether works in cm11 when it comes out later this week.
 
I installed the 4.4 rc2b only way I could get the sd card functional.

I'll get the logcat (haven't done that in a while) and I'll keep you posted on the cm11 when I grab it.

Ok so I know I can logcat from an app on the device BUT I used to use ADB for logcat (been a while since I helped a dev). When I try to use USB to hook the device up it only recognizes it as offline.

Do I need new usb drivers to recognize 4.4?
 
You are probably using an outdated adb. Grab a new copy and when it runs, your phone will ask if you want to accept the connection from your pc.
 
Some additional info.
Found that YouTube and ESPN SportsCenter videos will play when on Data (4G) but will NOT play when on wireless. WWE app videos will not play either way.
 
For those wondering what happened to the developer options in 4.4 you have to go to Settings > About Phone then push 'Build Number' 10 times.

I was missing this when trying to setup my trouble shooting. Tdm I am assuming since tethering is working on cm11 you don't need my logcat correct?
 
Bummer. Hope your end goes better than mine. Still trying to figure out this whole camera issue stuff and only making slow progress.
