I can confirm this. Happens to me as well

EDIT: I've found that the notification icon stays when it closes and you can start music from it.

EDIT2: contacts also force closes if you try to access the settings
 
Just played around with this for an hour or so... It is a very nice looking rom.. Only problems are that there is a bunch of bloatware (that you can delete) and this rom is very laggy even when overclocked... Just seems like the bugs need to be worked out... This will be be very nice when complete.... I wish I knew how I could help... As for now I'm back to cm7

First, just want to say the quality of this ROM is really high. Again, just some kinks being smoothed out, but don't be afraid; it's MIUI ICS and by and large it runs great.

Now, I just had the thing get stuck in sleep and it would not wake. Not sure why, this was after sleeping with it on, using it for alarm (it worked ^_^) and listening to music on my way to work. Only just now did it not want to wake. I gave it a few minutes and battery pulled and it booted right up. Shrugs.

Otherwise, no issues yet.
 
when choosing theme such as "DARK ICE" it wont change my icons or even change my status bar from white to ice cream sandwhich blue color is that an know issue or are we stuck with the white color on MIUI 4.0
 
MIUIv4 can only use MIUIv4 themes; and even though you use MIUIv4 themes it will only theme some parts of the ROM not all. The reason is the theme manager for MIUIv4 is not fully functional, it is just a ported MIUI GB theme manager; though they somewhat fixed lockscreen in 2.4.20 and will continue to try to fix the rest the ROM. Status bar is a part of the ROM that don't gets themed for now.

Now might offend soem pep's but CM9 has just met its match this rom has the ability to blow CM9 out the water when it gets all the minor and i mean MINOR bugs tweeked and fixed hell i personaly think it has the capability of doing so now

But hey gotta always have a PLAN B and i will always have a special place in my heart for CM9


and thanks to all DEV's working on any rom i know its hard work and very time comsuming so thank you
 
Quick question Austrie...I noticed when installing your rom, CWM showed that I was version 0.5.3. I downloaded 0.7.3. Is that a typo by any chance? Regardless, great work. I'm gonna try this one out for a while and hope that the camera will be fixed soon. Thanks again for all your hard work.
 
Yeah that's a typo; another result of FT rushing to leave. FT doesn't have that much patience...

A Sense port might coming soon to the MT...
 
Sense will take a long time, and the rom itself will be 250+mb, and will take a bit of internal memory. On the other hand me rushing to leave was more of a, "I have final exams tomorrow" problem and less of a patience problem.

Also, I'm not sure whats with all lag problems, this is my daily rom and it's been just as fast as CM9, until the music app is fixed just use the CM9 music app.
 
Austrie, FrenchToast and everyone else who made this ROM possible, thank you so much! It's amazing! The only problem I've had so far is the music player. It freezes up and makes the current song playing sound like a robot :p. Otherwise it's great! Keep up the good work!
 
You're using the Motorola Triumph right? If so wipe data/factory reset, reflash ROM(you can flash GAPPS to if you want).

Update coming later today, most user bugs fixed except for Contact settings bug because that seems to be a problem with MIUI itself...

Austrie and crew, as always, amazing work on this ROM. Thanks for your strong efforts, they are greatly appreciated!
 
Well Subzer0 reported that with the new update V0.7.5, that most bugs like music and themes are fixed except contacts settings, and most lag from ROM is gone. Also added aLogCat app for bug reporting, make sure did a factory data reset and you have the logcat. Then start aLogCat app, reproduce bug, go back to aLogCat and save the logcat to SD Card. USB Mounting pop-up still isn't working, seems like something in 2.4.20 is preventing it from popping up; but you can use control app(the one with icon that is a box with little slide switches in it, on the last page of apps). When you're in control app go to system then click SD card, then click Dual mount option(SD Card will be mounted to computer when plugged in while still being mounted on phone). Subzer0 is uploading the ROM now...
