Root [ROM][PORT][FINAL] MIUI 1.11.25-Triumph | 113011-2 (GB 2.3.7 based)

hope so, but isaac already stated he's going to start focusing more on school so we might not get MIUI updates anymore unless someone else steps up to the plate

MIUI updates are harder to do because it requires a lot of checking, rebuilding CM7 core parts, decompiling frameworks, replacing missing stuff, etc. If I had the MIUI source, it would be no different than building a new version of CM7. (Simple repo sync and build).

For example, I had to put out an immediate regression fix build because I missed the changes for wired headset. Technically, I have a checklist for myself that I systematically go through and make sure what I have working (and the new stuff I add) is still working. It's tedious, but I like to have the latest updates. Most devs porting MIUI (if they're not attached to a bigger site like MIUI.us) usually stick with one build (e.g. 1.9.9) and just keep going on that one. That's no fun though. ;)

I have plans to put up everything I changed for MIUI, but I'm still trying to figure out the best way to organize it so if someone finds it, they can go, "oh, that's what Isaac did/was working on." Unfortunately, there's no guarantee that what I do put up will still be applicable to next version of MIUI. However, I'm really big on transparency. I think source should always be available. Even if that means it comes in smali code. The weird thing is, I've seen many ports of MIUI out there, but few people putting up their changes. This is the only guy I've found putting up anything MIUI related: https://github.com/andmer

no wifi fix :( but still amazing work!!

Yeah, the WIFI problem is a mystery. Since it's technically in the "working" category, I prioritize it lower than the other stuff I'm working on (I think TG probably has the same thoughts on it), but it's definitely a pain in the ass. (I'd personally like to see the proximity sensor problem fixed first. I look like an idiot when my screen keeps blinking on and off during calls.)

If it does get fixed, it'll be in CM7 first. Besides the fact that TG is probably already looking into it, we have source available over in CM7-land. I want to get HDMI functional (in CM7) first before I move on to something else. Oh, and the GPU drivers in the MIUI kernel too.

That's weird, the proximity sensor works fine for me! My screen doesn't blink when I'm in a call.

Yeah I look like a fool with the lights blinking so I have just turned them off for now. Can't wait for the update

hahahahaha, yeah... same here. i was using my phone the other
night and people were looking at me funny because it was blinking
like crazy. I dont care... Im on Miui and they are not :)

ahhhhh i can't wait for the new build. i haven't used miui yet, but i've been waiting for this ever since i found out that you fixed MMS isaac, and only because i want to use the transformers 3 decepticon theme because the lockscreen looks SOOOOO AWESOME!!!!

Hey isaacj do remember when you was talking about the games subject on MIUI? Does it have anything to do with the accelerometer because when I'm playing Crazy Snowboard its all messed up it goes the opposite way.

It's up, guys. Enjoy!

There isn't a new kernel or crazy major changes with this build, so you should be able to flash right over the old build. I didn't wipe and I was okay. YMMV.

Make sure to check the changelog for all the changes. Also, check md5sums.

If you added "9999999" to the Firewall blacklist, make sure to remove it. It might block incoming MMS.

Isaac, you didn't wipe anything at all?

No, I usually don't. However, I test it both ways though. I set up my phone with an older build, use it for a bit, and then flash the new one. I check to see if it works okay. While I'm working on a new build, I never wipe. I always just flash right over.

Then, on the day of the release, I wipe and flash to make sure everything is okay.

Data wipes aren't usually necessary unless there was a massive change to the frameworks. I always wipe if there's a new kernel, but even that's not necessary.

downloading the new build now. i'll try it out when it's finished. Also I linked the download to my page and put a donation link up for you.

I thought I should mention, if you've added "9999999" to your blacklist, you'll probably want to remove it. If you don't, the Firewall may block incoming MMS.
