I mentioned that I got WIFI working, didn't you read that silly! ;) It just took a few slaps at the button to get it going. :D I found out about Boost Mobile issue with the APN, for some reason the APN setting wasn't being kept on the phone which was odd. I Used APN Manager app (old free one I have with Titanium) and set it back on. Since then it hasn't switched it back. It's weird but it works.

Like I said the biggest problem right now is the Market App. I can't install anything. There were other issues I listed but I was only mentioning them as I came across them. So that folks would be aware of it ;)

anycut might be able to make shortcut to APn menu. Im not on lewa so can't check but that's save a few clicks and help you remember to do it

Have you tried taking market out and installing the latest PlayStore ?

The one I tried so far is from gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip. The Vending.apk from it seems to be recent. Unless of course there is another one I'm not aware of. Is it possible you can upload or post your Vending.apk? I can compare and see what's going on.

Few things here and there Force Close and I'm trying to find ways around it.
 
you probably need to run fix permissions.

I'm stupid
I use ROM manager for that function only and don't touch any other buttons
don't do this find another way
probably fix fc problems
I do after every ROM flash
don't do this unless you too are stupid. but however you do it it will help

cwm got fix permissions but it seem like some don't stick on boot. but what do I know I'm stupid
 
does any one else think this rom takes tooo long to boot up? mine takes like 5 minutes lol. my markest works but it downloads the apps slow. i got rid of some lag by fixing the build.prop. i am not gettings that 9230 thing. for the apn mine stays selected but i still have to deselect and reselect to get it working. almos all of the stock roms dont work for me(they fc and they lag alot). tried making a phone call yesterday and it fc on me. i tried download speeds yesterday and got ping 139ms download 998kbps upload 309kbps but with the wrong location showing up. Antutu benchmark was 1826

It's something forecloses just use titanium wipe data then uninstall app then reinstall app only. That works and ct mod and should work on yours too. Or want no problems at all always restore your apps 1 by 1 from the market thats the best way to go.

Sadly it didn't work. I've tried deleting the cache, wiping the Dalvik, and forcefully reinstalling the app several ways. It just won't work.

I've had to switch back to CM7 for the time being because nothing was working for me on this rom. I even had a Force Close occur while I was on a phone call. It didn't hang up the line but the box was there. It was actually sorta funny :)

Normally I love testing new roms but this one just wouldn't work at all on my phone. I love the style and the features and definitely would use it fulltime once it's a bit more functional. Right now there seems to be a few kinks here.

Still thanks Blovadova for uploading it and sharing it with the community!

you have to go to cwm and mount system and data and then you flash gapps

it was the same for me at the beginning ... i used Odin to go back to stock (M820 Fa19)... then installed the rom .... i hope this help you :)
 
I saw where lewa is like miui . In that the release updates every Friday. Do you have to start over from scratch to port it over to us?
 
In the update I see torch app/widget. Couldn't get it to work
-lewa pond - cloud service, not sure haven't gotten confirmation email.

Scoring 20 points higher on benchmark

I noticed reboot options have reboot and recovery w/o boot loader option.

I was having trouble with Google navigation not recognizing GPS signal so I uninstalled Google maps and installed MapQuest. Its working fine and dandy.

I don't know if its just me but it seems even snappier than before.

Would be nice to have a list of known bugs and a changelog on the original thread. That way people can just check to see if its a known bug and or if a bug got fixed. It helps a lot trust me.

Here also eh..OK Lewa. Update not sure because I speak no Chinese, however added modified market and switched to totally odexed. Really like this build and so does wife( hooked her up with angry birds theme very nice). Still gotta select boost on start up and found you can just restore defaults in apn after reboot to get data working again.

Lol I didn't mean the official lewa os updates silly ;) I was referring to any tweaks or updates you do to this port also known bugs. It helps lots of folks. To post the information on the OP so folks don't have to read the entire thread. You do good work bud. Thanks for your constant support of the community!

this new build wont allow me to answer calls. screen goes blank except for wallpaper and phone just rings. unable to answer

Woot! I'll give this build a try once I get home. The suggestion to put the change logs on the OP from build to build was to make it easier for folks to track changes. Like I said on the MIUI thread otherwise people will post the same bugs over and over or have to read the entire thread ;)
