Root [ROM] Quattrimus JB (CM10.1, AOKP42)

I haven't run into that issue on mine. (Screen blank/lock up) Sticker where imei is, says rev 1.2

Whatever firmware that is. I only get one soft reset a day. No screen blank on any 4.2 ROM. I already PM tdm the kmsg of the soft boots.

Funny thing with my spectrum is I had my digitizer (glass) break. I bought the whole digitizer and LCD as one unit. The LCD wouldn't work with my motherboard. The digitizer did though.

Edit: just had it happen, funny it happens right after I say my firmware version doesn't have the issue....

For all the purists... Got aosp 4.2 running. Expect a ROM soon. Probably tomorrow.

awesome work! I can't wait to hear how it runs. If it runs smoother than cm10.1 then I'll probably be switching but if not, then I'm sticking with the aosp based roms that have nice added features.

Awesome I will definitely switch over because I think aosp is the smoothest of the other three aokp, cm, and pa and yeah it has less features but I can sacrifice those for ultra smoothness, thanks tdm!

On my P930 the following issues are present:

* Sometimes post_boot is not run, which in turn means mpdecision and thermald don't start.

* Camera app won't start. I found the fixes and back camera works for me, but not front camera yet. Could be the same issue I had with aosp 4.1, don't know yet.

AOSP flashed... looks good, but my data signal is stuck @ 'R'. I can get SMS, though.

Yikes! and CWM seems to be gone now.

Hey, so I can't get into the brick tool... I'm stuck at the Android ! screen. It's been so long since I've done this... how the hell do I get my PC to recognize my phone is plugged in?

how smooth does it run? Is there a noticeable increase in smoothness over aokp42/cm10.1
Oh yea, it was crazy smooth. But no data. And it installs the stock recovery, so now I'm stuck @ the Android ! screen and can't get my PC to recognize the phone is plugged in to cab it. :/

there must be a solution, I hope you get it figured out. Thanks for the feedback. If it runs smoother than the others then I'll definitely be running it. The number one feature I want is smoothness and I won't miss the added features of cm10.1 or aokp42 or pacman at all if aosp gives me super smoothness.

hmmmm, on second thought, I would miss all the super cool themes I've purchased :/ BUT SMOOTHNESS STILL WINS!

Just grab the cwm img and plop it onto your sdcard. Then dd it into place. I think it's p13 for recovery so it would look like this. Run as root of course and double check the partition number...

dd if=cwm.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p13 bs=4096

yep got the same thing as mrb should of read this before booting into CWM! but it was very smoother, better than cm and aokp and pacman

I don't know what any of that means, but I can't get it to boot now, let alone get adb to work. The PC won't recognize the phone anyway.

Are you saying that you can't get the phone to boot into download mode?

Vol up and down both while powering
