Root Rom Question

I am about to flash my first rom (BAMF Remix 1.6) ever and have a quick questions. If i decide that i do not like the rom is it possible to go back to the stock rooted rom? I am not sure if my terminology is correct but any help is greatly appreciated.
 
Yes, it's possible. While in ClockworkMod Recovery before flashing the ROM you have to go to Backup and Restore and select Backup. This is called a "Nandroid backup" and is the equivalent of a still picture of your phone at the exact time the backup was created. Everything on your phone before the backup will be there, texts, apps, call logs, widgets on home screens, etc when you restore it.
