Root ROM question

I've been running the Mik3D Rom for the past 5 days now and I wanna switch to another ROM, and i was thinking of trying Mikg 2.45 or VirusRom Kingdom Revolution w/sense 3.0.....i've read a lot about the mikg being a really good rom but havent seen much about Kingdom Revolution...anyone have any input on it?? also any specific kernal run good with either of those? or is the stock one just fine? Any input is appreciated...thanks

MikG is an awesome Rom. You'll probably feel like something is missing since you used Mik3D first.
The kingdom roms also have sense 3.0 so that will feel the same. The only thing about that Rom is its huge. You'll need to partition your SD card to have any chance of installing stuff on your piece.

I am running MikG 3D myself with the stock kernel and getting good battery life. I have MikG 2.45 on my wife's Evo and she gets decent battery life on the stock kernel being a heavy user. I haven't tried Virus Kingdom in a while so not sure on that. Kernels play different on different phones. Best thing to do is nandroid and flash one and see how it is then try the other. Give them a few days to settle in.

I dont really wanna get into partioning my card just yet so i'll just wait on that one for awhile lol....I liked the Mik3d but it seemed to be getting quite laggy after the first couple days....i'd clean all the cache's, reboot, and it would be fine for a few hours or so and then it would do it again....i dunno if there was something i wasnt cleaning?? and yes i did get good battery life off of it...maybe i'll just try the 2.45 and see how i like it and if not, i'll go back to the mik3d...

you can also try the evolved sense 3.0 rom. it is based off mik3d. it has a lot removed giving you a lot of internal memory for a sense 3.0 rom. check it out.

about the nandroid backup too, i still have the backup on my phone from when i made it before i went to the mik3d, and i just restored it a little bit ago.....when i flash a new ROM, i dont HAVE to make another nandroid do i?? i can always use the one that i first made cant i?? i'll just lose all the stuff i've added to my phone past that backup? if thats the case im fine with that...not really a big deal...

if you just went back to a nandroid backup and do not care about saving it again then no it is not necessary.
