Root [ROM RELEASE] 2.2-based Byron 4.0.1

Velocity is smoother at running Reckless Racing and just a tit smoother at Angry Birds. Normal menu navigation seems to be the same or very similar.

The Byron 4.0.6 update is posted. Install over any 4.0.x Byron. Do not wipe.

This update includes a new version of Google Books and Twitter 2.0.

I'll be updating this soon---I realize a couple of the apps have a new version available.

Byron Social (as it's been dubbed) updated to 4.0.8.

Is anyone using this version? I haven't heard nearly as much feedback about it as Bare.

Byron is updated to 4.0.10 with new versions of Twitter, Dolphin, Android Market, and Gmail.

First of all, thank you darkxsun! This ROM is just what I needed. I rooted my Ally and removed the apps that I could, but still wasn't happy. I'm happy now! I used superoneclick to root and Rom Manager to flash. At first, I thought I wasn't able to see the zip file when I was trying to pick it. It appeared not to be on my SD card. I finally gave up and went to bed. I started again fresh this morning and had a revelation! I scrolled down from what appeared to be the end of my list of files on my SD and there it was. :) I only mention this for anyone who may be experiencing the same problem (even though it makes me look like a dummy!). Before I flashed, I had around 60 MB, After loading up all my preferred apps, I am at 91MB and my Ally is fast as lightening. I've tested everything and everything works great! Thanks again darkxsun, you rock!
