This is a very popular ROM from the LG Optimus V ported to our device by sammyzand me.

You do not need to flash the MMS fix on this.

IMPORTANT: This has the potential to brick your device if you don't know what you're doing. If you don't know what you're doing, don't attempt it. If you do happen to brick your device, there is probably a way to fix it, so feel free to ask the talented people on this forum if you need help and they'll be glad to help you.

What's working?

Everything, Enjoy! :)

Pros:

  • ICS transition and rotation animations
  • More frequent CyanogenMod syncs.
  • THEMES!!
  • Easter Eggs! (See if you can find them all.)
  • Fully synced with the newest version of CyanogenMod 7.2
  • Ability to change bootanimations in CyanogenMod settings
  • Ability to refresh the status bar so you don't have to reboot for status bar changes to take effect.
  • Ability to disable ICS animations
  • Awesome bootanimation.
  • Very smooth.
  • Everything else CyanogenMod has to offer!
Cons:

  • Personal preferences, I guess..

-Download the flashable zip here

Installation Instructions:
Download BACKside-v0.7-sammyz-Primed.zip
2) copy to a safe place on your sdcard where you will remember it.
3) Boot into recovery mode (Hold down volume down, home, and power while completely powered off)
4) Wipe everything except sdcard.
5) Go to flash zip menu and toggle signature verification. click flash zip and navigate to where you stored the ROM.
6) Select this ROM, and when it asks if you really want to, press menu.
7) Also, if you want the Google Play Store, or other Google apps, be sure to also flash the newest version of gapps here. (Reboot after flashing the ROM and then flash gapps.)
8) Reboot into CM7.2
9) Enjoy! :)

Is this ROM freezing up on you at times? Try this:
Go to terminal emulator app, type:
su
fix_permissions
reboot
 
so tempting to flash.. but i have been using reppards for so long.. and it is set up so perfectly.. and i have absolutely no issues with it.. but yet.. i may have to give this a shot.. lol

just wait, we're fixing wifi, we got it working (link not up yet), now we're going to fix MMS into it and add some good stuff :)

Wifi now works :) sorry something happened while it was being ported the first time...not sure what happened....but its fixed now!
 
My market keeps saying no data connection, also my WiFi wont connect, it connects but nothing will load from it... If you guys could get this fixed ASAP it would be great :]

make sure u downloaded v.0.1.1 and NOT v0.1

I just tried this tonight. I made sure I downloaded the 2nd version, and I was getting an error when I tried to activate wifi. I flashed it twice, and made sure that I wiped everything each time. Both times I got the wifi error.
 
Alright, everybody. Just updated it to version 0.2. This fixes the Wi-Fi issue and the camera issue. MMS fix still works out of the box. Post if you run into any problems or you have some improvements. :)

Downloading now. I'll flash this evening and try it out. Hopefully it'll work.

Not sure, I just tried a2sdgui app and it comes up with an error, you're probably going to have to flash that script seperately....
