Root [ROM] Shuji

Had to ditch this ROM. Data and bt issues is a deal breaker for me.

Im on Liberty now again since I did not feel like going back to any of the 2nd init roms last night. :p

Sorry to hear. What were the BT issues you had? Just curious as I've yet to try it with my cars 'Sync' system.

Problems connected and when it did connect, it failed to stay connected. Any bt issues are a deal killer for me as I use bt daily in my car.

No idea what's going on here. Screen on time was 2 hours.
 
Anyone able to recommend a good battery manager app for this ROM? I think that's the only difference in the way I use the ROM now and prior to installing. Before Shuji I had my battery set to maximum battery saver, or however it was worded, in the 2 part GB install. I haven't yet found a way to change battery settings in this ROM to compare them equally.

Right now I'm averaging about 18 hours from full charge to the 15% warning tones. With the same usage as prior to installing Shuji. Before Shuji i could get over 24 hours on average.

I haven't had any data issues with this one yet (knock on wood) and the only fc was just after flashing the ROM, but after rebooting from installing the GallaxyX theme there has been no fc's.

What rom do you guys recommend and must I be rooted to install 1 and how do you do it, lol!
 
Does anyone know if this can be flashed over .602 or if there's any other way to get the .13p radio on it?
 
Just thought I'd answer the question about .602 and the .13p baseband. I installed the .602 leak last night, was running awful after I restored programs from TiBu but the .13p radio is MUCH better. So I booted into D2 Bootstrapper and wiped data/cache/dalvik and flashed Shuji over it. Rebooted and VOILA! Installed flawlessly, runs TONS faster than the .602 leak and it kept the .13p baseband. YMMV but for me, it was quick, easy and WELL worth it. I think I'm going to flash my husband DX with Shuji tonight. :)
 
So i found the first bug in this rom, or maybe it's just theme. I don't remember GallaxyX doing this. I recently switched to the Apex theme MIUI. Had some issues with facebook (but when do you not? lol) so I went to remove the account and re-add it. After removing when I hit the add account button it just flips me back to the main setup options screen. Wiped cache and did a phone format (not a bootstrap format), and it still does it. Any ideas on this one?

yep, love this rom..been on since nearly day 1 of 1.0. Galaxy theme is great also!!

I broke down and flashed 2.0, so far it's nice. Not extremely different than 1.0 but I have the benefit of the new radio and new market. One thing that I don't like is that I restored the newer camera from my backups but I can't restore the new gallery for some reason.
