Root [ROM] Sleipnir v2.4.0.5 - 10/24/13 - VM & SPRINT

Anyone getting a soft bootloop? I checked the md5 its gud wiped dalvic a few times its still doing it any solutions or ideas?:confused:

I restored cpu tuners data from tibu andvthe bootloop stopped so far. Maybe that can help too. Check out ur backups...

None of the ROMs work for me. I know I'm not doing anything wrong, I even did a full reset and re-rooted it, installed CWM so I could go back to stock if something goes bad, and none of them work. They start and I'm in the launcher for around ten seconds and then it shows the boot image again. It sucks cuz I really want this ROM. What do?

You're wiping system, data, cache, and dalvik cache right?

It's possible that your phone doesn't like being overclocked and this rom is overclocked to 1612mhz by default. Have you tried Harmonia? It uses the stock kernel and is not overclocked by default.

Did u verify the md5 sum was gud? Could be a Corrupted download of the Rom cause they do work.

Maybe, I'll try some again, after I unbrick it, having problems with that as well. I reverted to stock and then every app I tried to get back ended up giving me the insufficient space error, so I did a reset and it got bricked. So yeah lol

IM having a similar issue I keep getting insufficient space messages whenever I try to restore or install an app however I have iover 400+ mb free on everything

My only issue i have is my Wi-Fi doesn't work when i restore my apps there must be an app that is hindering it somehow, this was a problem on 2.3.9 too, (it worked fine before i installed my apps).

When i installed the black version of mms.apk on 2.3.9 i couldn't send mms so i installed the 2.3.8 mms.apk and it worked.

Anybody else have 3g issues, I wiped everything flashed even installed sixty backup apps its running smooth I accepted no Swype and trading quick memo for screenshot went to speed test and have bars that aren't connecting they're gray in this ROM and go blue but stayed gray. Had this problem on my lg marquee.. Went back to stock 3g is great as always. Just installed my sixty apps and ran quite a few speed tests. For those who say the elite is a 2g phone not a 3g phone uploadfromtaptalk1360391845366.jpg
 
I just upgraded to 2.4.0 and am also having MMS issues. I can't seem to send or receive them now. Bummer. I think I will just try to live with it and see if it's resolved in 2.4.1
 
I couldn't send or receive anything .. People said they also had wifi issues I was also confused why at performance mode on separate tests at 1.5 and 1.6GHz I got 2400 but where I am now at 1.6ghz/368mhz on smart ass v2 i pull in 400 points higher

ive been having alot of issues with receiving picture messages and according to virgin mobile its a nation wide texting issue that may not be fixed until the 12th. some people cant send texts and some can some can't send or receive sms some can.
 
i'm at a really good place with 2.3.9 and as excited as i am to upgrade, i believe it wise to wait until some of the kinks are hammered out. i have faith in artine and the others to put everything they've got into these releases.
