Root [ROM STABLE] Bugless Beast V0.3 Android 2.2

I tried installing bekits beta kernel on this, it's 125-800mhz and scored 1040 on quadrant. Although it ran okay, it wasn't the numbers I was hoping for and I flashed back to chevy 1.2 ulv Hopefully the final release will be more powerful.

Also, anyone experiencing improved battery in this rom? I seem to be getting Better life.
 
Failed today w/two source ROMs I wanted to try (Sapphire 6.2 and an alpha CM6 build) so installed this.

Installed, runs, Titanium-Restored apps/data, wifi works, camera/video works.

Quadrant (w/out any SetCPU) 1035, about as good as I've seen w/other ROMs on an 800MHz kernel.

Nice work, Pete. Good, solid 2.2 ROM.

I Loaded BB0.3 then the X theme on top of it and I lost my swype. It says it's not compatible with my phone, so I'm not sure what killed mine either the ROM or the theme? It's the official beta version btw. Any ideas??:confused:

I didn't need to do anything with the market. Everything worked fine for me. I believe the market is technically "fixed" now. However, I've never had a market issue even with the early Froyo releases.

I'll add my kudos to Mr. Alfonso. I updated over the last release without wiping data or cache and its running flawlessly. Took about a minute for the phone to automatically download and install FB (excluded from the rom) and everything was back to normal. I've had no probs with any of the Froyo roms so far. I haven't used Titanium since the first Froyo rom!

Have to say i will miss my swype but this change is a good one. Love the fact that it works with Fabs xTheme.

I installed last night at 4am thinking it wouldn't take long...somehow or another it messed up and I was up till around 5:30 fixing it back to a stable 2.1 rom...

Got it running, bb 0.3, today and am completely in love! Thanks Pete!
 
love all the optimizations pete makes to his ROMS for battery life.. SO MUCH BETTER than all of the others

running NEXBEAST theme and it is just that.

A BEAST
 
Just downloaded an hour ago. Everything is running smooth and fast. No issues that I can see. Running Fab's Nextheme over it and loving it. Thanks for all the hard work Pete and Fab.
 
this ran awesome for me all day, i have tried out all the source roms, but none have been as stable as this thank you pete!
 
i moved away from BB after V1 because i didn't like various aspects of it (including performance), but i gotta say, i just loaded this up earlier today and it is head and shoulders above any other Froyo ROM i have used. i'm using jdlfg's 1100 kernel and it benchmarks thru the roof. and with smoked glass theme and skinned Swype it looks great. great work all around. i might get rid of Pete's tweaked memory management, but i'm a believer again.
 
Anyone else having problems with widgets and ADW launcher on this? I just came from Sapphire, got everything set back up, and as soon as I went to landscape mode once, all my widgets broke.

Seems after readding them a few times it worked itself out, widgets are staying where I put them and working.
 
Same issue with market. Restored using Ti-backup, and everything seems to restore, but none of my apps show up in market, and it is slooooow.
 
I no longer use TiBu, switched to Mybackup Pro, mainly just to try it out, and all my market links work after restoring with it on this ROM.
 
Worked like a charm. I am LOVING this ROM. I was using JRummy for the leaks, but, wow. All I can say is that I'm back on the BB bandwagon.

Thanks for that. I rolled back to a working BB0.2.1 backup, uninstalled Swype, installed the Swype Installer, upgraded to BB0.3, then reinstalled Swype from the Installer and now everything's fine.

Now to backup again and try out some of these awesome looking themes. :)
