Root [ROM] Stock B11 Deodexed & Unmodified

wait which post do i follow. do i follow the directions that are currently being said here or go here [GUIDE] N00B Friendly OTA JB updating - Android Forums

will is still get the same end result if i follow either or? JB rooted

The end result is to get everyone on the warp sequent running JB OTA right now. The guide i posted is for those that want to try to get the OTA on their phone while maintaining CWM and root instead of downloading the OTA zips that have been uploaded and are currently being worked on to make it an easily flashable zip file for everyone.

Either or will give you the same result in that your warp sequent will be running JB 4.1.2

it seems that so far different methods are working for different people so at the moment you will just have to try things and report what you learn.

i see now, thanks for clearing that up man! i will try your method first :)

any progress? It seems this is too long lol if you're not booted by now it's a fail
I am going to give it a proper test right now. Had to revert to B09 in order to make some phone calls and let people know I'm messing with my phone lol. testing now just flashed and going to reboot now

ok guys im back and ready for testing I got the update working on my phone now! so give me the link to the newest one and ill test it

the cache folder is the the on in the root of the phone right? Once in there cache directory i see backup, lost&found, and a recovery directory. does it go in there?

it just occurred to me that maybe the reason the update worked for you this time is because you flashed the partitions trying to get this rom installed. The reason it was failing for me was an assert looking at something on mmcblk0p1 which is one of the ones we flashed.

Hmmm Yes, Yes Indeed... ( I have no idea What you're talking about! XD)

It would be interesting to see...if someone that was unsuccessful using the "copy update to cache & sd method" was to flash the Partition Updater JB file and then try that method again, would it work?

edit: I am thinking yes at the moment lol

What I did to get mine working is to revert to odexed b09 then download the stock ota zip... Flash that overtop it and wait for reboot... Then I installed your deodexed update.Works just fine except for the Qualcomm Enhanced thing crashing on open and on boot.
