LG-Esteem-Revo_AIO.zip will unroot n all that stuff,cwm touch is just the recovery but its touch mode instead of using vol +/- power buttons to make ur selections,did that help u at all ?

I went through the LGupdater, I manually unrooted my phone then did it.. I was nervous though but trust me it works just fine

yea i knew that cwm was just the recovery will the Lg-Esteem-Revo_AIO.zip also root and if so which file do i run when my phone is connected and in 'Internet Connection' mode?
Thanks.I'm going to take that route.which is the easiest way to unroot?

the all in root is it ,dwnload it ,make sure drivers up todate extract folder n i believe in there u will see root n recovery ms dos batch file,run make sure fone is in usdebugging mode and wen u open the file all ur choices will pop up

ok guys let me clearify things lol
you dont HAVE to unroot to update, i just didn't think it was possible to get it on any of the current custom roms..
BUT you SHOULD be on zve if your gonna flash roms for zve.. just common sense lol
but anyways, i discovered a possible work around for flashing #2 (ZVD) over ZVE.. which also comes to play in the whole updating to zve prior to flashing thing..
in the new zve base there are a few extra files for use with the radio updates.. so we could possibly include these files into the old rom base(s) to make them work..
one i can assure yiou is important is the folder lte_images found in system/etc..
i had to create and extra line of permissions for it to get data working on new rom because i was using an old script.. so maybe adding the files & permissions to #2 it could work?
but i wont be able to confirm if they will work properly with the old zvd framework, and again it most likely will only work on a device updated to zve already.. the baseband version is related to your service i believe.. and the baseband is not something you can change in a rom, it is outside the system directory on our devices
so there still much work to be done and things to be tested before we can just spit out roms lol, but i assure you im doing what i can.. i provided you all with a simple zve base to tinker with to get started lol

Its as easy as flash the zip or hit the market . And the good part of the market you can avoid the long lines and a free checkout .

ROM seems to work fine. Data works. Personally I don't like the animations that are used though.

As of now that's just a full port of v2.6.? Because it had a few things I needed that 2.5 didn't have.. but I'll change all that as time goes lol just wanted to be sure it worked first

you are attempting to bring us a so called updated 2.5zve,(v2.6zve) yahoo,ive tried them all on zvd,ldrifta,and 2.5 was my fones favorite,batt,speed,and all i loved,guess im going to flash it now and hope for trhe best lol,will let ldrifta know if any issues,ty again ldrifta

Drifts back at it again this is good works good . Hung up on a bill collector that's great for me love it so far . I had to adjust the build .prop a little on the dalvic to 75m some apps wont open like the should but signal inside this rescue truck with the radios going working very well. flashed v3.0 and having flash backs of 2.5 lol,so far so good,going to run it on a full charge batt and see how it does.
