toggled to airplane mode and back with the same results. i play with it throughout the day and report back. again, i appreciate you help and your ROMs!

I honestly don't remember, I was like a zombie last night when I was doing it. But what kept happening was I would advanced restore from a nandroid backup and it was like nothing changed...and kept my settings from current rom -

I finally did factory wipe, installed this ROM and golden

quick update...3G lit up. it took about 30 min from the update to take effect. maybe i just needed an ADHD patience pill. thx.

Some of the widgets need to be removed and replaced. (see attached image) but the icons were what takes the most time, so it definitely helped with that.


I got my home screens restored for the most part and really thats all I needed, so dont think im gonna mess around with Titanium settings backups much more. Dont need much else I dont think.

Thanks for the ROM, will see how I like it over the next few days.

This is nothing special. It doesn’t have a fancy name like SkyFroyo, Refrozen, or whatever. The build.prop doesn’t say by “insert name”.
This is just a rom I use for myself that I thought others may, or may not, enjoy.

There is not a question as to whether you should wipe before installing, just dooooooo it.

OTA leak must be installed prior to this rom if you want working camera and camcorder.

Removed flash. Can be reinstalled from Market.

Newer build, nicer keyboard!
Working wifi tethering out of the box (ad-hoc only).

Removed trackball wake (wasn't working consistently enough imo)
Removed Droid ringtones and notifications (will add a patch for those who want).

Just wanted to say I'm loving this ROM!

I figured out that it was the new facebook wrecking my battery. :(

Whats the best app to check wake time and whats keeping it awake? I've been using System Panel but I was just curious if there was another?

Also I'm getting force close when I try to add say a picture frame widget and go to the gallery.

I get "process com.htc.album" has stopped unexpectedly.
 
Adrynalyne, I followed your work back in the win mobile days and had flashed many of your roms, always do a great job.
Android kicks ass and wouldnt see myself going back to bb or wm ever again

Anyway flashed this rom and so far very fast and great job

Only thing I am looking for is the footprints apk... happen to have?

For many having problems with this or any other rom it seems that trying to backup apps and things seem to be a major issue leading to problems as well as many not following directions or taking time to read the whole post before jumping into it.

I know it takes a few more min but always prefer to start a new rom fresh and just reinstall apps one by one instead of making backups
With appbrain it is really fast and easy to do and know im reinstalling things right (just my 2cents)

Anyway great job again and look forward to roms and updates in future
 
Is it possible to get an upgrade to the gmail app thats included?

The new one which was in the first leaked 2.2 was great except for the bug that it had.
installing the attached gmail.apk did fix the issue, and i liked that gmail app better.

When I try installing this one it wont let me, could someone enlighten me as to how I might do that?

menu> settings>battery> battery use

you can also make this a shortcut on your home screens

Yea it also happens when I go into camera then click the gallery icon there as well. I did wipe before install and I only re-installed apps from Titanium not the data with it. I'll see if I can tinker with it, probably something I did anyway >.<
