Root [ROM] Uncommon Sense (v1.1) Release!

Hello

Im loving this ROM so far. I have 2 questions

1. Whats the little icon on top looks like a phone handset sitting on a keyboard?

2. It seems like there is a bug downloading apps from the market. Is this a known bug? It seems to hang at "Downloading" and not showing progress. But if i hit cancel, it acts as if it was downloaded and moves to install it

I'm not totally sure what is causing this but I've seen this and other market download/install problems crop up (and disappear) in a number or roms and also in the stock 2.2 install.
 
Best ROM yet! I haven't seen a setup that is as clean that just works. Thanks for all the work, and I can't wait to see the next iteration.
 
First off I have been using this ROM for a couple of days and I absolutely love it, favorite that I've used so far (I love the font you used for everything). I have what may be a super noob question, but is this ROM deodexed? I don't really know what that means or how to tell if it is, but I know that smooth super circle battery requires it and I love that battery. So I was just wondering if I could install it or not.

Edit: NVM I see it at the bottom of the list there, silly me.
Edit 2: Don't try to install that, boot loop ensues lol

i flashed uncommon sense last night, i really like it but the reason i was looking for an alternative is because i dont like the sense dialer its a bit sticky feeling, one i have used and i like is the dialer on the lg ally any ideas on a rom that has this feature or an alternative dialer i can use.

Thats exactly what it is, thank you. I never realized it because i never remove them LOL! I literally live with these stupid things haha
 
And we all realize that 1.1 is totally awesome? With KK #5... and then rosie mods coming tomorrow morning.
 
Flashed this ROM last night. I like it but am wondering if anyone else experienced up time and awake time being virtually the same. Something appears to be keeping it from sleeping. Is there an app that easily ID's what is keeping it awake?

Love the track ball wake and slide unlock.
 
1.1 has been released, and FULL of goodies. You can now put your favorite app in the rosie bar!

Remember, if you have a request for YOUR favorite app in the rosie bar, I need at-least a logcat. These remaps take a lot of time. If you enjoy them, feel free to buy me a redbull. Or not, its your call. :D

So I have to download the one I want for the Rosie re-map and which icon does it take over? I was hoping it takes away the brower icon.

The browser icon is the default for the ROM, even though he has a mod link for it. Any of the other ones will replace the stock browser icon that is already there. Just flash over the existing ROM.
 
Yes, hover is correct. d/l the 1.1 Rom (I do a wipe from other roms) configure it the way you want then d/l a rosie mod without a wipe. Pick and choose. My wife uses Dolphin HD and I like it too.
 
Big thanks to the chefs with this!!! It's my first ROM after rooting, (I know, finally!) and so far no FCs or glitches!!! I love it! Any chance that the music play-button can be removed on my end from the lock screen?

Im an idiot with this stuff, but in case it cannot be removed easily, i bet you can use Widget Locker to change your lock screen and overwrite it
 
This looks great but I am getting the same constant sync issue I had with Virtuous. I have turned off all auto sync features except for Touchdown with activesync which I reinstalled via titanium. I suspect it is touchdown but not sure how to verify.

If I go into settings I can hit cancel sync even though I don't know what is sync ing. Any ideas?

I've love to run this rom if I can resolve this issue. I currently run sense lite with kingxkernal #5, which I installed with this rom as well.
 
hey guys, trying to convince my girlfriend to let me root her phone and slap this on there.. would anyone mind making a short vid of this rom in action... app draw, noto bar etc... i think thatll convince her to let me do it. Also do the sense weather animations still work with this?? Or no? she loves tho's so that could be a deal breaker.
