Root [ROM][UNOFFICIAL][4.4.4] DeCAF Cyanogenmod 11, Release 1

I installed this with TWRP to see how it's going. It installed fine, installed gapps, I did a factory reset and dalvik wipe and rebooted. Wi-Fi worked, and the modem seemed to be functional, but it was trying to connect on VM, whereas I'm on Boost. It just sat there searching for service. ##72786# didn't do anything, although that might not be the right code in cyan. Has anyone else on Boost tried this? Not sure if it was just me or what.

Otherwise, it ran very smooth and looks great! Forgot to check RAM usage, but I'm sure is as low as it can be. Can't wait for finished product! :D

dying to flash this . But i need to have working phone audio as i use my phone for work. Thanks for all the work whoshotjr2006... Haven't had a cm rom on a phone since i had a motorola triumph . Finally a phone that has some devs working hard !

Hey, I've been using this since this morning and I have a cwm backup just in case... I've noticed the same things but right now wifi works, data as far as using an app in the play store that looks exactly like the stock one is working for messaging, i had to set it as default. my phone thinks it is a VM phone but it's a boost and i don't know how to configure the Boost APN to see if that helps.. Dsp for sound is installed but i have yet to hear anything, that includes calls out I don't know about incoming. camera is still not able to initialize yet.. YouTube will load but then gets confused and tells me to try again later. I have to say even though its early this is really nice and I appreciate your time and hard work on this, thank you :)

Dear bad_mofo,
I thank u in advance for creating a cm ROM for the lg volt. I hope you still continue to work on this ROM until its fully compatible. The only major issues I've noticed is the home LED does turn off it just keeps changing colors. Also the flashlight and camera don't work. Another small feature that kind of matters is LTE doesn't work. Again I thank you for making this ROM and I hope you continue to work on it.

Lol hi. I'm the ROM Dev so far. Thank you for your bug reports, I'm actively working on them and hopefully soon I'll have some more time to sit and figure more out.

Edit: I mean for this thread, not in general. No disrespect meant anyone, especially bad_mofo

Hey guys/gals, i just got mtp to work sorta. I went into settings->storage->click menu->usb computer connection->mtp and clicked it, it gave me an error mounting, then i clicked on ptp instead, nothing happened, then clicked back to mtp and my internal and external sd popped up on my computer. weird, but ill look into it.

Sorry but thanks for being pretty much the only person working on a lg volt ROM, I will be downloading every update untill its finished because I love this ROM better then the stock lg volt rom

Edit: Just a question but when cyanogen mod 11 m12 is released (or whichever update is the android lollipop update) will you be working on making the ROM for the lg volt?

I am using Lubuntu at the moment and i was able to get MTP working and last night I got GPS working as well. I am wondering if the connection issues can be solved by editing the APN for boost just right, I tried all of the apn entries I could find but couldn't get them to work so I am restoring my x5 debloated ROM for the time being because I need to make/recieve calls but I have my good backup so I'll keep testing as time goes on. I love this ROM so far, really wish i could just stick with it. I 'll check out the next update though, absolutely. :thumbsupdroid:

I'm more than willing to open my github to contributors if anyone finds fixes and wants to post them, I just have to revert my device and vendor trees back to a working state first. I screwed up in the latest pushes but locally have it working again. Pm me anyone if you want access and I'll set it up.

Until I get it pushed back to my repos, you guys can download my very earliest commits from device and vendor and it will build, you will just have to add libbinder.so for ril and apns_conf.XML for data.

I disabled selinux, added stock apns_conf.XML(needs work), and did a few more things to get mtp working, sands please lemme know how you got GPS running. I imagine I'm missing GPS.msm8226.so or something related.

I'll post a new build hopefully tonight with what I did, gotta take a final in an hour and then meet a friend for his bday but after that I'm free till 6pm tomorrow.

I am not exactly sure how i got the GPS to work. An app I was using, the stock browser i think and i am not even sure if it was that but it showed me on maps where i was and I was visiting a different city... I usually keep gps off though. Is there a way to add battery saver back to system settings? I used greenify and that helped. Ill definitely try the next build man, thx!!

Battery saver would be an option on unofficial builds, if we can implement it I'll build it in the work we have now.

I hope eventually we can be in line with cm enough to get official builds and that means what cm offers we have, so no extra stuff like battery saver at that point if their build server is making for us, but that doesn't mean unofficial builds can't exist too.

Hey can someone upload a boost mobile stock ROM apns_conf.XML from /etc? And if anyone has the sprint prepaid volt, that one too. I need to see the differences (or lack thereof) in those files between carriers.
