Root [ROM|UPGRADE|Android 2.3.5]ANARCHY RELOADED by Mastermind, First Ever Upgrade for Micromax A75

I always flash a new ROM after:

1. Factory Reset
2. Wipe Cache
3. Wipe Dalvik Cache
4.Wipe Battery Stats.

I flashed this ROM once and then the phone shutdown mid conversation and had to remove battery to start it again.

I then flashed the ROM for a second time and had the same problem on two further separate occasions. So I stopped using it since. Maybe the problem lies with my phone. I am currently on Sagarwep LegoIce and 3.03 before that with no problems.

I have bricked it three to four times and had to Format-->Download using SP flash tool about 15 days ago trying to install Sagarwep 3.1 and gave up.

Another issue I am having is everytime I flash a ROM I have to restore the MPB_001 with my phone's IMEI. Do you have any idea why this is? This is only happening ever since I bricked the phone.

If I use this ROM what is better than the ROM I am currently using?

Sorry mate but don't exactly know why that IMEI no. problem is occurring after each rom install....
N i really think that ur device has some problem mate, mostly memory chip problem i think...restore original mmx stock rom, fully, n then use it for some time, if same problem is there then take the device straight away to service center....thats what i think of...

Hmmm...then temporary install some other launcher 1st, remove the Laucher2.apk from /system/app...download Holo Launcher from play store n then use Titanium n convert it to system app...

Buddy i was having the Holo Launcher apk so what i did is i deleted the apk file from the system and then had copy pasted the apk what i had and renamed it to Launcher2.apk and then had did the update from play store and this time it went smoothly that means there is a signature problem in the Launcher apk what we have right now so get the fresh new updated apk of the holo launcher and provide it in the next update with the other updates. Will keep u updated with any other request or issues so dont feel bombarded.

Thanks Mastermind...

I am in UK so little chance of me taking it to a service center.. I noticed in the latest version of SP Tool that there is an option to backup and restore NV RAM during format-->download..

I read in XDA forums about taking a EFS backup but I never took one when I first rooted with Ninad's ROM. Need to read up a bit more and I will ask Bruno Martins and see if he will help me.
 
After flashing with updates no noticeable sound effect coming and player pro stop working and in music player cant able to use equalizer


Plz solve the problem how my player pro will work

Its already written in changelog that Sound Effects from Music app will not work.
Please read before posting negative reviews...

N Mods will not work with Player Pro...if u want to use player pro then restore ur backup(that's why I said to take backup before flashing update)

bro i am not posting any negative review i am new here so just want to know is there any way u can make sound quality like bt rom cos i love your rom its so fast with lots of new feature anyway i had already taken backup so moving on but i will back to check ur update and again thx for your gr8 rom

also wen r u actully releasing it fr a73..ppl r getting restless n porting themselves now..? :p

anyway to less battery consumption in this rom, because at 10pm i cek 98% went wakeup at 5am has 62% in standby. it normal? in others rom not more at 5% . any suggestion? not use any aplication for batery booster because need more ram. please, i love this rom
 
I am now running this ROM after facing bluetooth issues with Lego Ice..I installed after a thorough format of all partitions and it seems to be doing ok..

There is mention in OP about writing IMEI in engineers mode. I tried with code *#*#3646633#*#* but does not seem to work..

Can someone please tell me how do I get into engineer's mode on this?

HOW TO TEST BEATS AUDIO N xLOUD:

- Plug your best headphones

- Choose a song
- Play it 4 or 5 times in a row
- Flash BeatsAudio (Update 1.0 zip)
- Play the same song again and see if you note improvements in the audio
- Use same audio volume

U will not see taskSwitcher as app, but u can access it via long tap on home button, it will show open/running apps...u can put an app into open state via home button n switch to one another by long tap on home button.
N i will release Anarchy Reloaded for A73 by tomorrow...i stopped by reading some sensors error otherwise it would have been released by now..i will try to release today only but surely by tomorrow.

N to all ur surprise, i just realized that BeatsAudio app included in package is useless...its installer for beats audio, we don't need it, u can safely remove that app from /system/app/

N u will not have any GUI for BeatsAudio, it runs in background n take care of sound, thats it...:)

This method will work only if u r using Holo Launcher or ADW...or some other which supports Activities to be displayed under Shortcuts.

1. Long tap on home screen
2. Select "Shortcuts"
3. Select "Activities"
4. Scroll down n find "EngineerMode"
5. Tap on it, Select 1st option in that drop down.
6. A shortcut for EngineerMode will be there on home screen for u....
7. Enjoy.
 
dats wt felt beats app doing more or less nthng..bt i thought dt wen u hv included it dere mst b a reason :p

2) Copy the Anarchy_Reloaded_by_Mastermind.zip to root of your sdcard
3) Switch off the device & boot into Recovery mode by holding down Vol Up key & Power On.
4) Back up your current ROM. (This is must if u run into some problem to restore)
5) Now, Wipe data/Factory reset
6) Install zip from sdcard
7) Choose zip from sdcard
8) Select copied ANARCHY rom zip file
9) Confirm the action
10) ROM installed
11) Reboot system

DOWNLOADS:

1) ROM: ANARCHY_RELOADED_by_Mastermind.zip
 2) Recovery: CWM Recovery 5 with sdext support



KNOWN BUGS:
- Network bug solved
- front camera 90 degree rotated left
- Do report if u find one


REMOTE POSSIBILITY:
 - If after flashing rom shows bootanimation but does not get home screen, then just reboot to recovery n reflash the rom zip, this time it will start without a hitch.


ADDITIONAL NOTES:

- 1st boot may take some time, keep this in mind
- Apps in screenshots are not included(e.g.Facebook,Whatsapp etc.), this a basic rom package only to keep the rom size low.
- Requests are invited for changes or app packages
- Int2Ext+ is working fine, will be found on sdcard to use manually later, just move the script using root explorer to /system/etc/init.d/ n give all permissions

i have installed this rom, very good in terms of performance THANKS

I am facing some bugs:
1. gallery is not reading photos and videos
2.i installed mx player, it also doesn't read videos.

plz someone help.

FIRST OF ALL ,REMOVE THE QUOTE PART FROM YOUR POST PLEASE, I ALREADY REQUESTED ALL NOT TO QUOTE WHOLE OP.THANKS.

Rom can only be flashed via cwm recovery as of now....n thats the easiest way.
As u r asking for SP flash tool method i assume u r aware how to use it so for rooting the device, follow my guide (following link).

But for installing this rom or any other rom u don't need root, what u need is cwm recovery to flash the rom n u automatically get root as this n almost all other roms are pre-rooted.
So use SP flash tool n flash only recovery partition, u can find recovery to flash on my guide (following link)

Thats the same thing i have provided in the package n also mentioned in my following thread.

I modified original script to solve loosing IMEI n other nvram related data.
Now the original scripts on XDA also includes those changes(thanks to me n croniccorey:D) n u can see me resting in its credits list...i m now working with him to make this scripts completely universal...:D
