Root {ROM} Verbous Stripped ..w/ICS theme...by Aboatright3605

I've flashed plenty of roms so I'm pretty sure I know what I am doing but thought I'd double check. Wipe data/factory reset, clear cache, clear dalvik, format system/data/cache. Installed the rom and the ICS theme but got stuck in boot image. Was able to get into recovery, restoring backup right now. Any thoughts?
 
Do I have to revert back to stock kernel and the previous cwm? or can I flash this with requisite0's cwm and kernel? If I have to revert back, I'll just try and pry my wife's adbeast out of her hand..

I did not do that to begin with. Flashed it again and it was fine. Is there suppose to be no pull down status bar? Very nice rom. Runs a lot smoother than previous one. Just not for me.

backing up and flashing now... by the way, im a HUGE fan of version.666! it is a little busy but i like the little touches that made it one of the most detailed ROMS to date. so thank you aboatright
 
definately lilke version.666 better... and not drop down notification bar on stripped version? flashing back to version.666 :D

im on 666, i wonder if ntelos sat version 2 better than this one? b/c i feels that after finding 666, i want to stay on it for life!
 
Picked it up, but want to use the market (since it is not automatically the play store) and it errors out every time... what do I do?

I have no experience with this rom but if you're getting the 492 error all i can say is reflash the rom.

here is a prime example of why a thread on an actively downloaded rom should not be locked. Although i have no experience on this rom it appears you are having the same issue as most when flashing something for the admire. Google play store errors happen when you dont clear your dalvik and cache and let your phone sit after flashing and allow sync to happen. Hope this helps your issue and sorry you were not welcomed properly and given an informative response that could solve your issue properly. There are quite a few threads that answer the same question if you search throughout the all things root forum.
