Were you using the deodexed rom at first or were you using the unmodified rom? Trying to figure out if the partition updates are more important than I originally thought or if the unmodified rom has an issue the deodexed does not.
I used both but when I flashed the partition I used the deodexed debloated version (don't enjoy manually erasing apps, prefer to erase the ones I don't use) and it works fine, no reboots, almost zero lag, and my time seems to have stayed but that's for now.
If you're planning on making any roms based off this, please tell me, I could test everything but data cause I'm in Mexico.

Also I just though of a couple questions..
Can I flash the Jock over clock kernel to this rom? Or if your not sure what's the worst that could happen if it didn't work?

There should be a separate link for the daemon but if u guys can't find it just lemme know & I'll post it but the only thing is that I'm unsure of whether or on it's interchangeable due to JB/KK differences.. I think it came from a JB port so I dunno.
Those of us that use Xposed/GravityBox - U need to uninstall JB and install the KK version or that apk will be useless, lol

Got it installed, working great except for security and uninstalling apps. I installed the stock rom, no SU or partition updater. Will try deodexed later. For now, though, thanks to everyone who rocked on this! Enjoying KK!!!!

Not sure about Jock kernel. The worst that can happen is it won't boot and you will need to flash the stock kernel posted in the OP.
Please try updating the partitions and let me know if it fixes the security and uninstalling apps problem.
edit: I just installed the unmodified rom, security works fine. I think the partitions are required. Please verify that yours works properly after updating the partitions and i will change the OP text. Thanks
OK. I'm running into a permissions type issue where I'm not being allowed to move files/folders around (keeps telling me to enable root permissions?!) When I use any file manager (RootBrowser, CM file manager..) And Titanium Backup isn't able to change/modify/erase data/apks & backups. It THINKS it's doing its job but when u exit then return, no changes are made.
I'm running B12 Deodexed w/ partitions..
I have been moving system files around using Es File Explorer. Not sure about the other apps you mentioned. Things are working good here. TB sucks anyway IMHO lol
edit: did you flash SuperSU? The roms are not rooted
edit2: also keep in mind that some apps have different versions for KitKat and JB backups may not be compatible.
Right on, I can't even delete extra backups. Yes, I flashed SuperSU and had to even reflash cuz SuperUser seems incompatible with this KitKat stuff.. I use RomToolbox Pro but an older version Cuz it wouldn't work right on the ZTE JB ROMs.. Gonna update Toolbox and hope it takes care of issue but don't think it will as CM File Manager is having conflicts with it as we'll.. I'll reflash partitions and hope for the best before updating toolbox
Strange you are having issues. I am not. Superuser.apk from the flashable posted in the OP works great. Es File Explorer and Xposed framework both popped up the superuser permission required screen, i said yes, and both work great.
You can use Nandroid Manager to restore them from your previous nandroid backup. I think you may need the paid version though. I think it is only a couple dollars. Can't check because i paid it so it no longer shows me the price.

If you are talking about the partition updater, you can flash it anytime.

Still having trouble making or deleting APK backups with TB..
Try using Es File Explorer. Make sure you enable root and r/w support for /system.
Right on. Ty-... I hate it, lol.. TB won't let me backup or anything besides restoration of preexisting TB backups from before kitkat update
