Root [ROM](wimax)[11/21/12][JB 4.1.2]ParanoidAndroid 2.99

If we can receive MMS sending them shouldn't be too far away. At the very least if anyone code savy could take a look at this ROM we should be able to port the ability to receive MMS to other AOSP ROMs. I just might have to try this ROM out.

Tried it just now. One more confirming working mms.
haven't really used this rom as i wasn't expecting everything to work but the features are interesting.

yeah its still under development... should see 4g really soon... some people (including me) keep receiving boot loops when switching modes... the dev is working on that bug too... other than that... everything seems functional except for a few glitches here and there...

Good ROM but major issues.
SMS doesn't work sometimes without rebooting
YouTube has red and blue switched and a the colors are wrong and you can't rotate to landscape in it

System Settings > Developer options > Disable HW overlays

should allow youtube to play fine.
though the usual video app i use doesn't quite work.

Ok great that fixed it. Another complaint its the voicemail, or lack thereof. It tells me I have 3 new ones and I know I don't have any. So I call and it isn't voicemail its some weird virgin mobile thing and I can't get rid of the notification

Is that only on this rom?? I dont have a problem like that and it seems to be more of a virgin issue...

I had that also. Ghost vm from sprint.

Everytime someone would call, I would get 3 notifications saying "sprint" left me a vm.

That, coupled with video and mms problems, meant too much hassle for me.

Give it a week and let them work more bugs out.

He says 4g is almost fixed. Maybe after that he will work on video issues.

Disabling hw overlay doesn't stick after a reboot either.
