ok... on the old version of the rom... go to system/app/ and find mms.apk... copy it to the new rom... the location in the new rom is the same... make sure you delete the old mms.apk... if it does not show up in you app drawer, get root browser... go to the location of mms.apk and click on it and then click install... you should now see it in the app drawer...

Doing this on my computer
 
I was curious about where the magic was with this rom in letting us receive mms so I tried copying the mms.apk and the apns-conf.xml over to cm-9-DevilToast-0.7.5-shooter and it worked. So the answer to how to get mms working lies within these two items

its really within the mms.apk because once the rom got updated and the apk got changed, the mms abilities disapeared with it

I couldn't get it to work til I copied into the rom and rebooted. It could have been a coincidence that I copied it and all it was that it actually needed was a reboot but im not sure.
 
Do me a favor extract the mms. Apk in winrar or 7zip or w/e, as well as the modified build prop and upload em somewhere and pm it to me, I'm going to see what I can do to find what to actually do to fix this shit.

its not just the 3d camera.. i can do without that... but the htc cam app is just so easy to use and other apps cant make use of the huge camera button... the live effects are really cool too... the stock jb cam uses half the screen for just the snapshot button... and there aren't many setting to customize with...

ps... love the screen name..

JB cam seems clearer in my experience.

never used Jelly Been camera, but can't imagine it's that bad. would just hate to lose 3d and 4g, though i rarely ever use either
 
First off, this is a great ROM with a lot of fun features, i'm surprised that jellybean runs as well as it does on our phones. There is just one thing i have encountered that seems like a drawback....

Has anyone noticed video playback being really sketchy on this ROM? I haven't been able to see any streaming videos although i can hear them; and when I "back-out" of fullscreen playback i can see a frame of the video i wasn't seeing (black screen) also the video playback in the gallery of videos shot with the phone seems to play them in negative sometimes and other times looses the video completely... Not a complaint just wondering if anyone else was seeing this other than me....

System Settings > Developer options > Disable HW overlays

I've noticed it too. Also, the Facebook app doesn't work at all. The widget works, but when u try to open the actual app, it just says "loading" forever.
