Root {ROM}(WIP)Cm9 [SUPER ALPHA]

The HTC G1 has Jelly Bean up and running, I wouldn't rule out our device just yet.

If we get ICS running, would it be the best port? Probably not, but seeing as we got this booting, its definitely possible =)

+1 for Optimism?

Since Bo left us with his email and ensured it'll get a response much faster than one on these forums I'll shoot him an email and see what happens.

Yes, the G1 has Jellybean, but you can't even make phone calls on it or rotate the screen The whole OS is so stripped I wouldn't hardly call it a rom. Yes, it is definitely JB, but you really can't do much but boot it LOL. As for the Admire, PlayfulGod has said in a different thread that Req0 is still working on it and as a teaser said its mostly booting right. Still no other updates but I think if we wait patiently we will see something good in the near future :)

This cm9 is also booting, either way this is the one that's been released so far... still in the alpha stage, but very nice

Peep this...lol this cm9 is a kang. .. it wasn't built from scratch ... but req0's version is... and Bo doesn't even seems to be returning ;)

Hmm, didn't know it was flickering back to the android "splash". Looks like it's just stuck in the framebuffer. Wouldn't know how to fix this for a phone though. I really wish I could grasp this phone development thing but oh well.

I really wish this phone had a better chance with devs, without the flickering it seems to run cm9 quite beautifully. I hope the rumor of req still working on it is true.
