I did try out the libs and they broke the screen driver all together. I was thinking of trying to find the kernel source for ics prevail.

We can't use the prevail kernel. The phones are alot alike but not that much alike.

I'm not Micro-managing, but you can unpack the boot.img, and take the bits and pieces you need, merge the changes, and repack it all -.-

I mean sure the config files are different but the phones are quite similar, even if the kernel is different, there are usable pieces.

This is one of the first things we do when porting a rom.
Its trying to backport the actual TS driver that is the challenge.
Im thinking it would be easier to add armv6 support to the 3.x kernel. then it would just be a matter of compiling the kernel with our deconfig (well, not _that easy_, but might be a little more stable).

Just pokin fun a touch m8, no harm done.

Even then, wouldn't there have to be a fix for HW Acceleration, Wifi, Data, and Video Playback? .___. Lololol, I think building a 3.0 Kernel might be more tedious.

So, any 3.0 kernel with our screen size would do?

you need to backport genlock and kgsl from the 3.0 kernel.

You need to do this for the touchscreen. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1328515

I doubt any new device that will see a 3.0 kernel will use the touchscreen the admire uses
