Root [ROM][WIP] Party Time JellyBeanSandwich

superboy4444, thanks for the info. And I apologize for getting your name incorrect. I don't know why I was thinking "7s" instead of "4s"
 
Thank you so much for this ROM. Everything works great so far. I do have a few questions, but they may just be new user related and not to your ROM apart from one.

I can't seem to find where I can change my lock screen icons. I thought It was in the settings, but can't find it anywhere.

The other question I have is I am getting a system update for my phone message constantly. This thing will not go away. I was afraid if I install it, it would unroot my device and cause serious problems seeing how I am using your ROM. Is it ok to get this update? and if not how can I remove it so it is not bugging the crap out of me.

Another question is I am having some lockups while playing graphic intensive games such as CSR Racing. I am guessing the phone just is not able to handle it. Is there a good OC app or something related to help the phone handle these games?

Check under Security, then Lock Screen Options. Tap on Shortcuts to edit the list. I think those shortcuts only work with the Swipe unlock.
 
Yes they only work with swipe unlock.
And to stop the update process.
You can use romtoolbox and go into the autostart manager and disable the android.update.gsf .blah blah blah service and it should stop.
I've done it to mine.
 
Is this still under development? I've noticed a few problems with group messaging that I think still need to be worked out...

Also, the pattern lockscreen rotates when the phone is tilted, which I don't think it's supposed to.


Otherwise, great ROM. I love it. Thanks sooo much to everyone whose worked and contributed to it. We all owe you and thank you greatly :)

It is supposed to but I'll change that in 2.5
 
Quick question: Is 2.5 going to the OTA update so that I don't keep getting notifications about an available update, which won't actually install? Other than that little annoyance, I'm loving 2.4, which I've been on almost since the day it came out.

I only have a phone at the time
No one made a app for decompiling and recompiling yet?
That would be a great app
 
Great ROM! installed it last night and it works great... If I were to format my SD card to NTFS would that mess anything up? I want to create symlinks
