Root ROM with full HDMI?

I'm currently using Fresh 3.5.0.1 and I just ordered the Micro-HDMI cable for my phone. I wondering if anyone knows what I can expect? Did fresh build full HDMI output into the ROM or.....is there a ROM out that does? Hope I'm making sense. lol

Thanks!,

All sense based ROM's (Fresh is a sense based ROM) have 4g and hdmi working.

It kind of depends on what you mean by "full HDMI outoupt". Frenchy is right in that it is working - as in, it works exactly the same way it does without root or a custom ROM. You can use it in a...well...pretty much limited fashion. You can view pictures, watch videos, etc. No ROM, mod, etc., though, has the ability to fully mirror through HDMI. That hasn't been done yet.

I think he means the UI and all output when he says full.

If the OP does, than no. All you can use HDMI for is videos, pictures, and I think YouTube.

I read the post quickly and missed that, thanks for the clarification!

Thanks guys! Hope someone works it in to a release. That would be awesome!

I guess what I'm really looking for is NESDRIOD and that stuff working with the wiimote. :)

If you search "HDMI mirror" on XDA you will get an idea if anyone is working on it. It doesn't really look like anybody is actively trying to tackle it. Obviously there is some difficulty involved. Sure would be nice though. I am under the impression other phones can do that...Droid X?...Even the EPic???
