Root [ROM][YACR] CM 7.1-Reppard

oooooooooooooo.... flashed new rom.. booted up fiorst time... 3G popped up on my bar.. now its gone.. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
 
has anyone been having mobile data problems? my phone is connected to my house's wifi and when i send textes they dont send and when they do i receive them hours late

Have you tried it while connected to Metropcs data 3G (or 1x) connection and not while Wifi on? Though I don't think it should matter with text transfer if you have data or wifi connectivity on. Know it does make a difference when receiving MMS at least that helped me to have data connection on. But it also could be your area or time of day.

yes, it seems to work better now and also i went to settings > wireless & network settings > Mobile Network Settings > and checked Data Enabled (it turns off when you connect to wifi)
 
I've been running 787 and the smarta$$v2 governor all day with no problems. Tomorrow, I'll bump it up one more notch and see what I can do. This is defintely better than I had previously. I used a free app called cpumaster free and couldn't get over 729. When I did get setcpu, I think it was automatically set at 768, I think, and I never bothered to manually set it higher so I don't know if it could go higher.

I also went a head and installed the flash that somedood is talking about over on the flash how to thread. It seems to be working for the most part. Definitely not overly smooth on the video department. But hey, it does work.

Yes, for last couple days I had some MMS pics couldn't download, then read about having 3g Data on would help instead of Wifi, because normally with Wifi being faster I always have that on. But as soon as I turned off Wifi and allowed Metro's data, got notification that my pictures downloaded. Happy about that :) Hoping it continues.
 
Hey reppard, or anyone else that might know, when I use the long press of the power button and choose screen shot, it takes the screen shot as a png file. Is there anyway to default it to a jpg instead?

Yu probably have the settings set to where your apps are unrestored on the external memory.if Yu do, Yu gotta go to manage apps> downloaded> the widgets Yu downloaded and hit "move to phone" than Yu can go to home screen and add widgets.
 
Can someone link me to the original fw? So that I can flash back. I wasnt aware this changes the network Im on so metro thinks im on something else, unless there are tools to change this?
 
My phone is stable on 729 the next one up is runnable but apps that need Web access crash on me.and i'm set to the smartass gov :/

This does not change your network. It changes words on your screen from metro to cyanogenmod 7.1. That is all.

If you miss seeing the word MetroPCS, look under your earpiece.
