Root [ROM] ZOMG!we got a root section rom

So first off want to say thanks to whoever gave us this root section.
Anyways I put together this rom tonight.

What is it?Well it started off at stock and has moved on. The change log is the second post it contains all features and changes

How do I put this on my phone?
you must have a custom recovery of course
put the rom and gapps (google apps ) on your sdcard
reboot into recovery and wipe everything except for rotate and batt stats
flash the rom and then when it finishes flash the gapps
reboot and enjoy

I can't download the rom or other questions?
If you have problems I don't know why I tested everything it works great if
you have any problems it's your fault so on to my next statement.

CHANGELOG

3/31 removed stock launcher put in adw, removed all virgin bloat,
new shared uid, added faves, droid x video player, other small things.

First id like to say thank you for all your efforts its people like you that make having droids awesome.
Ive been using this rom all day and its pretty decent the only thing is it seems setCPU doesnt work to overclock. Is there some reason for this that I am missing? Also I was wondering if maybe there could be something done with the dock icons I find the plain square for keypad and plain circle for the browser really ugly. anyways nice job and thanks for the hard work

Im using the LG Optimus V.
 
I didn't include the xionia overclocked kernel in here. I been working on something and want to make sure it won't have any reverse effects on the rom (no mms bluetooth or whatever) as could happen. If you search the market for adw themes that will fix your icon problems

on another note I just wanted to post this teaser of something me and maybe teamchicken eater are working on :D

Hey thanks alot for the quick response. I really appreciate it. Ive been searching high and low for a good rom for my optimus V there are so many and I think ive tried them all. Any thoughts on which would been best performance and look? Also I would like to find the completely stock virgin mobile rom and recovery just, to have incase its needed but cant find it anywhere. Any idea where it may been hiding? Thanks again.

Clock font color is defined in services.jar and the signal bar icons are located in lg-res.apk :D

Amazing ROM, works great, MMS works great sending and recieving, best rom out there, love it, thankyou for a well made and fully functional ROM.

I just flashed this ROM and it's stuck at the honeycomb looking boot screen. I just rooted my phone yesterday and I'm a total noob at it. Any help is greatly appreciated!

there could be a lot of reasons. could you possibly post the steps you took? most likely, you just missed a small step in there.

The first time I rebooted after I installed it it worked fine. I just deleted my ADW themes and launcher. Then I rebooted again and now it won't load. I did the steps when I installed it.
 
hmm...i had something similar when i installed AOSP Gingerbread. if you're able to boot into Recovery (hold Power, Home, Volume down button and let go of Home and Volume Down when you see LG symbol), i would just wipe data, dalvick cache, and flash the ROM again. if it worked the first time, it sounds like it could have been a bad flash.

as far as the ADW uninstall, i'd be surprised if that had anything to do with it.

Thank you so much! I made a backup before I put any ROMs on it. How do I get my backup on my phone again?
 
When you boot into Recovery by the steps I listed above, go to "Backup and Restore", and then "Restore", and your back up should be right there. Make sure you wipe first.
 
When I finally got to my home screen I did a factory reset in the phone's setting and now I can't get past the clockwork recovery start up thing. I'm guessing I made a big mistake?

I don't think the dev is supporting this or any of his older work anymore. Sorry!
