Root roms and kernels download page??

can someone please create/sticky and central roms and kernels download page? I'm constantly on here looking for another rom for my gf's phone but cant seem to find more than cm7 Aplus and joneidy sense... im usually on the evo 4g threads and the roms and kernels page is by far one of the most helpful pages on that forum for me... but especially for a phone like the optimus m that doesnt seem to have as many roms out there it would be a fantastic help

My gf keeps begging me to change hers from the sense theme its on now just because she wants to try something new (tried Aplus the other day but had issues) so are cm7, Aplus and the sense themed rom the only roms? if this has already been taken care of then please disregard. i just thought it might be helpful... and if people could point me in the right direction then i would definitely start the thread myself i just cant seem to find more than that i dont mind putting in the work i just dont have the resources i guess... anyway let me know!

damn see thats what i was afraid of... i was hoping i just couldnt find them for some reason... lol well thank you for your time.... my girl is really just looking for something a little less laggy... but really the only ones i havent tried is the sliderom... Aplus and chickeneater never would flash correctly and she didnt like cm7.... so i guess we're trying sliderom! lol

well that definitely opens it up a little bit more... thanks a lot for all y'alls help! if y'all know of anyone needing rom testing i'm sure my gf won't mind.. she is always wanting something new...

Does a a2sd partition need to be created for every rom or just certain ones?

I think only aplus NEEDS it. I could be wrong but I know cm7 and sense work without it.

I'm using Aplus ROM and it uses a2sd, but it's almost seamless. It runs in the background and you never notice it. When you first boot into it, you set a couple of parameters in the gui for a2sd and then forget about it. Quite nice really. I typically have about 160 MB internal memory free, and I'm down to about 3.6 GB of my 8 GB SD card (that's primarily because of a lot of music on my SD card though).

Oh, I don't know that "needs" it is quite accurate. It just is integrated into the ROM, so runs with it.

Do any of the roms work automatically with a2sd without creating a partition?
