Root ROMS that work well with Go launcher

Newbie
Does anyone know of a ROM that works well with go launcher for my LG Esteem? Also is there a MIUI ROM for the Esteem?

P. S: Hopefully I worded this correctly. I'm not exactly the most tech savy.
 
I'm running go launcher sometimes go next launcher go SMS go contacts go power manager #2 2.7 very smooth

There is the MiHome launcher by MIUI which is made to give the MIUI rom look. Someone here has tried it and claims it works well on the esteem. Perhaps you may want to try it on Rom #2. Unfortunately MIUI does not make a rom for this phone.

I would try rom #2 as well, but I cannot confirm how well it works. Should work great!

I built DoVerTeD rom with go launcher ex.... and it worked fantastic! Ran silky smooth and had all the really cool bells and whistles......HOWEVER.... I steered away from using go launcher due to the serious amount of BLOAT that comes along with it.
I was theming and adjusting go launcher to remove some of the garbage.... but I feLt that I should not modify the work of the Go Dev team without their permission.

Or it could just be that I didn't want to say for sure since everyone's device/setup is different. For some GO will run perfect but for others it will be laggy. Like if you have all the social apps installed & Lots of apps running in background... You may experience lag with GO since it's a little heavy on resources. I think it's best for the OP to try it and make their own assessment.

No one in this thread has posted an uninformed answer. :thumb:
 
Any given day I'm running less than a 100mb of RAM and both go launcher and go next launcher r smooth I run I think 7 home screens go launcher runs usually 45-50 mb smoothly 2.7 keeps it that day. Just my 2 cents.
 
I am using Go Launcher with #2 and even with my CPU underclocked I feel very little lag. Go Launcher is a bloated launcher and most other launchers will dominate it in the lag department. Anyways, it runs close to butter smooth for me.

Try closing out go launcher while its running putting it into cache see if lag stops
 
Ok firstly thank you all. I tried number 2 zvd and love it. It ran well with all go products. However, I like it so much I undownloaded go. Lol


Now how do I remove the Number2 (#2) text from the lock screen?
 
Its a step by step process in all things root link under mods change carrier text it'll change onscreen txt as well
