Root root after new update

I'm just wondering if i lost root or not after i updated to the .340 but when i turned on my phone and went to go text someone it asked me to allow or deny a superuser thing and i hit allow so does that mean im still rooted?
and if im not does this style of rooting still work?

It means you are still rooted. I would use this root: z4Root: [APP] z4root - xda-developers

It's quicker and easier. You don't need a PC to do it.
