Root Root apk for L38C

I have lg l38c rooted just need a link to get cwm so i can get roms rooted with noobtool worked great but need cwm recovery please help

ok so i tried to root my phone last night and it wouldn't let me move my apps from my phone to the sd card i tried to follow the second set of steps for the "one click" method but got frustrated. could someone please make it a little easier to understand for me. my mom and stepdad have both asked me to root there phones for them to , but i would like to completely root mine before i root there's.

also i really dont care about a single thing that is on my phone it can get completely wiped for all i care.

Hi guys. I have a similar problem. I suspect I might be missing something. Have rooted using app in first, I am confirmed rooted. Except whenever I download an app it (Superuser) won't give permission... What am I doing wrong?

I am like the rest . have a xbin/su installed in system but super user won't work . Also usb debugging will not check . Is there a way to modify the noobtool apk to delete the su in xbin so we can start over ? Also is there a way to gain temp read write to build prop . I screwed up trying to get DIAG USB mode and put a 1 in place of 0 in the line persist.usbdebugging.blocking . inside build.prop
Now i can't check USBdebug NOR uncheck use usb as MAss storage

I tried a hard reset and it did not factory restore because the xbin/su is still there and so is a build.prop.bak....but it wiped out all the apps so i have to re do login with google and download a file manager ..

Any help please?
maybe a terminal command on the phone ?

one more thing the L38c_noobtool appears to root as it shows it rewrites the su and appears to gain root but when i download superuser(anyversion) then things go bonkers ..tried su fixer no go tried installing busybox, won;t install..

EDIT : GOT IT !! I fixed my own problem and now it is working i have usbdebugging without root access you type in a terminal emulator command "it is a secret AS I FOUND IT I'M MAKING AN APP TO EXCUTE IT"

Make sure usb debug is checked in applications developer .. also check the other two.. also install Busybox ...

This is an apk for rooting the L38C, which I'm told is basically the same thing as the L3 E400 and L35C. I didn't see a specific section for the L38C, so I'm putting this here. It uses a bug in the backlight driver to gain root, which affect several models from LG. This apk specifically checks for the buildprop for "LG-L38C" and "LGL35G", but if an owner of a L3 E400 want to try it out, I dont mind adding that property to my whitelist.

How to use it? Install the apk from the bottom of this post. It should show up as "L38C_NoobTool" in the apps. Install ministro 2 from the play store. Start the "L38C_NoobTool" app, it will start ministro which will download a few mb of c++ libraries, and hopefully show you a button that says "Root Me". Click that button, and if everything works, it will write the su binary to /system/xbin/su. Then install the superuser app (supersu won't work with this su binary).

After its done, neither my app or ministro are needed for root to keep working.

If you want to use superSU instead of superuser, follow the directions as above, and then install the superSU app. Then open that app, and tell it to update the su binary. After that, superSU will work, and superuser will not.

How about the optimus l9? Could that one be added to work with this?
