Root Root Explorer from XDA - Learned what I needed

I thought I read somewhere, that if you sign up on the XDA Developers site, you can download Root Explorer free. I tried searching around for the thread it might have been in, but can't find it. Am I mis-remembering this, or did I really read it and I am just not finding the correct thread?

Can any one shed some light on my confusion?
