Root Root for Fierce 2?

I'm working on porting CWM, has anyone tried to unlock the bootloader, or try fastboot mode? I'm only porting CWM because its easier, but not too easy any help would be appreciated.

ok so i downloaded both root browser and the emoji tff i went to the system and fronts and everything but how do i copy it and paste it to the system font

i looked at your instructions but when i go to downloads and try to copy apple color emoji or try to open file it says i can't open it

you have to be rooted

Well, good luck in all of that, hope you succeed. There is a way we possibly go into recovery, when you boot up the phone, before you hit the screen that says MetroPCS. I soft bricked my phone three times messing around with xposed so I'll never use that again lol.... You hit the volume buttons and the power at the same time and press/hold and you'll be taken to the android debug screen, that's how I recovered my device from softbrick I factory reset it/wiped all data.

I believe, but use at your own risk. I tried using it to install the lollipop style themes, I was soft bricked three times.

You just have to keep trying....I also have 7040T...took me 3 days after finding Kingroot on xda.

Is there a way to unroot from this current method (sorry I'm probably late) and if so does unrooting give me back my warrenty or is it voided permanately after root? (Just trying to see cause my mom got me this phone I don't want to make her mad)

If they can find traces of the root then no

Tried installing android l styled themes, but I ended up soft bricking my phone. I did fix it by booting into a recovery at the load screen and I factory reset.

Here's how I got mine rooted.

1.Download KingRoot and AnTuTu.
2.Close out of all of your apps.
3.Open AnTuTu and run the benchmark.
4.Wait until AnTuTu hits 10%, then IMMEDIATELY hit home and open KingRoot
5.Hit the blue button to root as usual
6.Once the root goes to about 35%, the AnTuTu graphics test will start.
7.Once it ends, it should kick you back to KingRoot by itself.
8.KingRoot should then jump quickly to 100%
9.Once it does a blue button will pop up. Click it and wait.
10.After it loads, you should get a check mark. This means you're rooted.

KingUser (SuperUser) will already be installed, so just verify root with Root Checker.

I just rooted mine and it took me about the 8th try before it rooted and make sure you have the latest kingroot also I used the 5.0 version

You Just Kept Trying Kingroot No Second Or Third Party Apps?

Oh yes you need antutu app you run the benchmark test and let it run up to 10 percent you hit your home key right away and go in to kingroot and hit root button
