If you still need /system I could upload mine for you. I wonder what you can customize on this phone without bricking it. I've already replaced bootanimation.zip, disabled shutdownanimation.zip, and took away the boot and shutdown sounds.OK, nobody mess with the fonts till I find out what's causing it to brick.
Sure, there's some other guy uploading it, but I need it asapIf you still need /system I could upload mine for you. I wonder what you can customize on this phone without bricking it. I've already replaced bootanimation.zip, disabled shutdownanimation.zip, and took away the boot and shutdown sounds.
I can look at it when I have /system back and my phone boots.Guys, I've just had an idea. When I went to replace the bootanimation.zip, it wasn't anywhere to be found in /system/media. Rather, it was is /custpack/JRD_custres/media. While I was checking, I also found a font file at /custpack/JRD_custres/fonts with the same contents as as /system/fonts. Perhaps someone could try replacing font files in there?
I tried it out. I had the xposed framework three times and my device is rooted (permanently) I tried using monster theme 5.0, it soft bricked my device (was stuck at the booting screen) just want to know if there is any way I can have the transparent bar in all apps that way without bricking...Nutella 1998 try using nova launcher. I heard it has the lollipop look and it runs faster
The way the fierce 2 will permaroot if you have a custom recovery. If you want an idea of how it would work you can try reading the zmax forum here or xda
Just throwing some ideas around you know
Sorry its taking so long my wife sent me on a frickn mission. Can't do nothing till I get back. In the mean time if anyone is at their computer looking at this forum and knows their way around adb then all you gotta do isSure, there's some other guy uploading it, but I need it asap
To fix your bricked phone you did a factory reset?I'll look more into xposed, possibly for the zte zmax, since that root was achieved using the same method.
I've uploaded system file hereAny system backup of some kind?
I guess so. I was soft bricked though, I don't know about a hard brick. To fix your bricked phone you did a factory reset?
Amazing what the power of root can do.dude that is sick!!
That thang look good. Give step by step instructions on how you did that.I am testing out the transparent bars, and they look amazing. Guess xposed isn't so bad after all, just have to be careful. Attached is an example.
