Hers my question What were to happen If I do a factory reset in twrp with out flashing a rom to my device ?
Do I still have my root ?

Factory resetting through TWRP won't remove root if the rom you flashed includes root (which most do).

It will return your rom to the state of a fresh flash. Sort of like when you factory reset on a stock device. You will lose your data and settings and user apps, and it will be like you just flashed the rom for the first time.

You should still have root.

If you do lose anything, it would be the SuperUser or SuperSU app which you should be able to re-download from the Play Store.

The su binary that really is the key/core piece that gives you root should be unaffected by a factory reset.
