Root [ROOT/KOREAN VERSION] For LG-F400K

This works for the Korean version of G3.
Might work for the US versions as well, but we don't know yet..


1. Install LG Universal Mobile Driver from www.lg.com.
2. Enable USB Debug :
Setting -> About phone -> Software infomation -> tap 7 times on Build number
Go back Setting -> Developer options -> Tick USB debugging
Connnect computer with PTP

3. Download roottool Download roottool.zip from Sendspace.com - send big files the easy way and extract it
Run Run.bat press any key to go to Recovery <3e>
Chose apply update from ADB in recovery 3e

Then press any key from command window

press reboot

Your G3 is rooted.

yes its F400k i tryied to root it with roottool, ioroot and etc. the result is same as i wrote in 1st post :(
I've purchased it about few weeks ago, maybe these methods are useless to updated lg's embedded android

Hmm, what firmware version do you have on your F400k? 10A, 10B, newer?
 

Interesting. I was unaware of that version. It's evidently been patched. All root methods worked up to and including 12b (ioroot, towelroot, purpledrake, stumproot).

If you've tried all the above, it appears you're out of luck to root 10L. However, the great fortune with LG (for now) is that you can go backward in firmware version and root. So if it comes to that, grab yourself some LG Flash Tools, any tot which predates 10L and flash via download mode.

Also how can i get rid of that ussd code running on my f400k10u LGG3. I TRIED different steps but its not working . if i root my phone is there a posibility that i can get rid of that stupid ussd code running? Thanks
