Root Root problem, help please

Ok, first I'm kinda new at this so hopefull the fix os easy. I was in the middle of rooting my phone when it said it didnt support gingerbread 2.3.3 However it did s-off my phone but now when I use the right version it says my phone is alreadyvs-off so says it cant continue. So I've yrying to find a way to fix this. Well I sipposivly did but when it tries to connect to my phone but it says my phone's not connected bit iy is and I've evn varifiedv it by selecting hard drive and it shows up in my compurer. When I try it I kake sure I select the kind of connection it asks for but it just wont work. If thetes a way to reset it back to "out of the box" I dont carebif I lose everything. Please help

i moved you to the rooting section

what is your hboot? do you still have s-off? go to bootloader by powering off (you may need to uncheck fastboot, settings/apps/uncheck fastboot) then press and hold power+vol down.

let us know what that is and we can steer you in the right direction.
